Looks like I am in for at least Saturday. Will be arriving solo.

This should be a great ride. Not sure I can make it, but workin' it with the bride. It would be a shame to miss an opportunity to poke @V-SHOT in the eye... again, again.
This is deep into way cool folks territory. Not as cool as me, naturally, but nobody is perfect. This should be a bucket of good clean livin'. And, if I do post, you won't want to miss an opportunity to see ME.
Just FYI, the CBBT is a bridge tunnel bridge tunnel bridge tunnel bridge, and $15 each way. The bridge parts are like 5' off the water, so cool beans for folks like me who get creeped out by heights and wind and roadway grates. Not sure why this is necessary, as there ain't nothing on the other side of the CBBT. Just one so-so winery.
Hopefully, it includes a FERRY ride. Not sure I want to find out what a Fairy ride is.
Oh, I dunno. Some of it is coolant, some egr, some electrical wire thingies.
If you find yourself missing any of these, and need a ride home, lemme know. They seem important.
Yes, this is true. I was a slacker getting some pics posted.
Really nice stuff. @lrobbi is a nut case for details. Happy customer.
Eric, your aim is just a bit outside.
Yeah, just doin' the best I can. You know me, I drive like that too.
RICE....get several bags of white rice, gently wrap the radio in light cloth, set radio (wrapped) on a little rice and than cover completely and let the rice pull any moisture out of the radio. Many have dried cell phones and such with this method. Good luck.
Yeah. Been there, tried that. Maybe 10# bags. I lost several phones to water, and ended up using them for target practice.
That was the Lucas Tire and Wheel, also tell her to get the Lucas Quick Wax it will also make it easy on her.
Cool. I am printing that out this time. You rock.
Pfft. You won't have those problems if you NEVER wash your sling. Works for me.
Mine stays clean, but has never had a water hose on it. Except when @Ruptured Duck put his pressure washer to it to get rid of the Georgia clay. Quick Detail and Speed Wax and the hand wax about every 4 months.
Your sling always looks better than new. Go ahead, rub my nose in it. You ride hard like I do, but mine always looks filthy.
What was that magic stuff you gave us last time we met? It worked great, but bride and I forgot what it was.
Pfft. You won't have those problems if you NEVER wash your sling. Works for me.
Find time to WASH it, you could instead RIDE it. Silly folks around here.
Off to ride mine,
-e
Yay!
Happy Birthday, Tim!
You meet the nicest people riding a slingshot. Seriously.
For every story like this that bubbles up to the forum, there are 20 or 50 or 500 more that never hit the press. I know this to be true.
@av8ingtom, @A-Team SS, @V-SHOT and @adventure4me are rocking good folks. I'm jealous I wasn't there. Judge a man by the company he keeps...
To the actors involved, "Hey There - See You Again Soon!".
Slightest bit of humidity, and that there oven will fire the GFCI circuits. Once she gets heated up, you should be fine. But, until then... click...
Prolly would make a nice smoker too.
Keep on havin' fun! Thanks for the pleasant diversion! I know it isn't you, but this thread is good clean livin'.
I'm way past that being interesting anymore. Been there, done that.
If that is still your thing, also consider visiting wineries shortly before they close tastings. More age appropriate ladies are very likely to bubble over your way looking a ride for and offering the same rewards.
Just, never lose perspective that it is the Sling, not you...
Will this kit work on a Sling with a DDM Supercharger installed? I think the charge tube on the right side of the engine will interfere, but I am not sure.
@lrobbi has had a DDM Supercharger for maybe a year. I am still mad at him for not inviting me for the ride down to get it installed. No interest in boosting, but I live to ride - even as a passenger.
If it doesn't fit with a DDM Supercharger, I would be shocked. Knowing him, I can offer that I will give you your money back if it doesn't fit. He and I are chatting up how it looks on a stock engine... few of us left in the local crew. Will know soon enough.
Madstad top here too. The "lost" cupholder just moves up a few inches - it doesn't actually get lost. Instead of an awkward reach to the back, you have an awkward reach a few inches up.
Pull two cotter pins each side, and the tops are off. Nice.
Mine is stable even at meaningful speed. No worries to me. There is a vid of somebody standing on the Stinger somewhere. It is sturdy for sure.
The Slingshade is seriously the best looking top to me. It doesn't give that dune buggy look. The floppy panels are discouraging to me, but as I understand it they are abs plastic that should last 1000 years. Bad optics for sure, but quality should not be doubted. Just not in the mood to fund a 2nd top at the moment.
Colors Available. Please allow for an Additional 7 business days to process. The look is killer!!! And well worth the short processing time.
Huh. That's pretty sweet looking. That just might work for me. Count me in for one of those.
well that is where I bought it and have the 3 years no maintenance cost warranty. they had to fix what was messed up from the start. they are too expensive to try to get parts for anything so I will go everywhere else for those. I bought an air horn and now have to figure out how I am going to get it installed.
Ask @DocG about how they handle warranty claims. No cost, is only in your mind, not theirs. There is a trip or two to WV is in your future. I see it quite clearly.
Jealous of your adjusting passenger seat. Didn't know they did that these days. Wonder if there is an upgrade kit.
there were a few things that coleman powersports in woodbridge had messed up and had to fix and I didn't even have the first 500 miles yet. they replaced the passenger seat because all of the screws were coming out of it.
We are going to have to teach you how to not go to Coleman's. You can believe me now, or believe me later.
