Upper 40's in Northern Indiana Saturday afternoon --- Had the Slingshot out for about an hour. This afternoon should be up in the 50's, will be out for some riding.

Good to hear. It rained all day yesterday, but today was sunny and cool. We drove about 50 miles today; made the loop through Bisbee and had lunch in Tombstone, where we rounded a turn and I distinctly heard a gentleman ask his friend, "What the hell is that?" ...lol 😁

Roadhawg most of us put our home area in our profile … What part of the country are you in?

I didn't realize until you said something earlier, EJ, that my profile didn't say anything about me. I just updated it. You know you're getting old when it asks for your year of birth and you have to scroll through six or more pages of years to find yours. My wife is from Korea and I was born in Dayton, Ohio, but we both call Arizona home now. I'm still a die-hard Buckeyes fan and sure I'll catch some flack for that from our Michigan brethren. We've been married for 33 years and have probably owned a dozen motorcycles in that time, including two Victory's and our Road King that we gave to the dealer in exchange for the Slingshot. It was a hard choice to give up something we both loved so much, but we've fallen in love with our new SLR and believe we made the right choice... 😊

Steering wheel lock is not going to stop someone from stealing the Sling if they want it. I us the handcuffs for the steering wheel and the rear wheel clamp and also pull into the parking spot at the motels with the steering turned all the way to the left or right. It makes it kind of hard to jack up the rear and pull out of the parking spot. How many of you have thought about that?

You're absolutely correct. If someone wants it bad enough, their gonna have it, but you made a good point about pulling into parking spaces and "handcuffing" your wheel while it's turned. I hadn't thought of that, but will now make it a practice. I saw one of these parked at an outdoor mall with handcuffs on it. I thought, what a terrific idea, even if it doesn't stop a professional thief from driving off with your baby, it looks cool as hell! That much, I've thought of on my own, but I use the poor man's version... lol 😊

My understanding is moving the turn signal level closer to the steering wheel and adding many control features to the steering wheel are two of the many improvements that are available on the '20 models, and that's good, but does anyone else wish the steering wheel would lock when you remove the key, like it does on regular cars? Seems like an easy improvement that someone at Polaris would have thought was important, IMHO.

You have some great riding country in AZ, photos of you in your sling this time of year are going to make a lot of members jealous!

Jealous of the weather, maybe, but I killed a scorpion on my bedroom wall this morning. That's the second one this month. I don't think anyone would be envious of that... lol 😬
