They use to do this kind of stuff in NYC..They'd spit on your windshield while you were waiting in traffic, smear it with a dirty rag and then put their hand out for a tip..She was probably just buttering you up for something.

I saw the left over space pics too (of course, after I ordered). I'm hoping that since they are soft and probably empty in the pics that it leaves room for us to overstuff them and better fill the space.

I ordered it on Friday because of the coupon--will let you know when I get it. I was considering the corbin trunk liners that insert into the trunks behind the seats. Polaris looked like better quality and cheaper with the coupon.

I guess a place called Pimp My Slingshot (PMS) is only going to last for a short "PERIOD"

You're going to get answers all over the place. Someone with a turbo doing donuts isn't going to get the same tire mileage as the proverbial little old lady. Seems from other posts that most folks can get 12K or better on rear and 20 or so on the fronts. Mine were looking good at 8K but I swapped out to BFG Sport Comp 2s because I wanted a better tire than OEM.

Do the 16s have smaller batteries than the 15s? I saw that part of the "airflow management kit" included a smaller battery for the 15s. Or was it done that way to simply balance added weight on the 15s?

What would the balance be with a 200 pound rider in each seat. Figure 200 is a good average with clothes.
Be good to compare if you still have the scales. If the CG is centered on the passengers then the result would be:
691 lbs on both front wheels and 751 lbs on the rear wheel. There's generally a consensus that the grip is poor and also SS is hydroplane sensitive due to wide tires and light wheel weight. Considering only 3 wheels we're not that far out of line with cars. IE; the rear wheel has the same weight on it as a 3004 lb car would have on each of it's wheels (if balanced). -
Before I went with the Corbin Bags I had this fender which was attached to the tow hitch. It was a metal fender purchased at Northern tool for 29 bucks that I cut several inches off.

I would have though it was a penile implant that they give away in the penal system. I wonder if prisoners in North Carolina can use any bathroom they want.

Nice job and if wife thinks he spent too much on it the black and blue will match his bruises.

With all the stuff Cycle Springs installs they ought to start a site to sell the OEM and used stuff....they could call it (wait for it):

The removable cushion that can be padded differently is a big deal as it allows you to sit at your perfect height without having to experiment with different windshields.

If you're not adverse to putting velcro on the back of your phone it'll attach very well to the flat part of the windshield bracket. Soft on the phone and the loop side on the bracket.

I never have any luck running errands like that. I check weather radar and forecast to make sure both are clear and it still rains.

That is a great idea
What about replacing the Zip Tie with a heavy rubber O-Ring so it would be reusableNot a bad thought, could just use a lip on each side to pull the O-ring over. Another option, If I used some small L brackets instead of washers could probably run a velcro loop through.
