How do you use a panel removal tool to remove the center console panels? I don't want to break any tabs. I tend to do that. I'm talking about the painted panels next to the emergency brake area. Couldn't find in filebase.

Opened to inspect Scosche harness and Din. Wiring may be intuitive. The Din came with a weather shield that snaps into place to protect from the rain. Shield doesn't show in online description.
-
Too late, I ordered the Scosche harness and Din 2 days ago. On my doorstep today. Now just have to wait for boss in November. Going to do a January install anyway.

I'm not a wiring person and schematics don't help me much. I purchased the boss radio, Scosche wiring harness and Scosche Din from SlingMods. Says it's a plug and play but when I see wires that need to be crimped, I get nervous. I am not installing an aftermarket Amp or speakers. I just wanted to use android auto.

Back to basics. I'm not a electronics person. Is the boss along with the wire harness an easy install for a dummy? Does the harness come with good instructions?
-
Well no real projects. But ordered Boss radio, double Din and souchie harness. I justify all my upgrades when I look at what a new sling costs. I don't plan to install until winter but no worries here, SlingMods always backs their offerings.

Did an 87 mile loop. Temps 68 to 70. Nice couple hour ride with jackets. Getting close to heated clothing time.

Nice ride down to Higgins Beach. Allot of surfers waiting for the big one.

Went to our favorite roast beef deli 90 miles from home. Unfortunately, when we got there a sign on the door said "closed due to family event". At least we had a great 180+ ride.

This morning on the I-10 in cabazon going west we were passed by a red and black slingshot with handicap Arizona plates and either a twist or bullet speed top. On the side wing it said “god father” does anyone here know who this is?

Well, you charged me $40 for a new belt going from the 110 to 105.
I see so 3 different belts but the 105mm & 100mm use the same belt......
Yep
-
There is a belt for the 110mm pulley, the 105mm and 100mm use the same belt and the 95mm uses a different belt. So when changing from a 105mm to a 100mm pulley, no tune update or belt is needed, just the pulley and other supporting mods we recommend.
Well, you charged me $40 for a new belt going from the 110 to 105. Oops misread your response. I see I needed the new belt .😘
-
Exactly which pulley is this , the one the belt is on , im assuming......does this require a new belt or anything other than a new tune......
There is only one belt on the engine. The 105mm took a different size belt then the 110mm pulley. I assume the 100mm pulley will require a new belt. Don't know about the tune for the 100mm but the 105mm did not need a new tune. I went with the included 110mm pulley because I was concerned about gas mileage. But my experience withe the 105mm is about .5 mpg better. I did lose about 5mpg with the supercharger.
-
If I had to do it all over again, I would go with the 100mm pulley if the pkg included the tune for that. But I'm learning as I'm going along. Dave@ddmworks, does going to the 100mm require a new tune?
-
Something else to consider that may or may not be of concern. The smaller pulley will be more fun, for sure, but it will reduce the mileage range per tank if that's a concern?
That's what I thought but I actually am getting 30.5 since I put the 105mm on 3k ago. I was getting 29.9 with the 110mm. Go figure... So I'm considering going to 100mm if I don't need a tune.

Just order from DDM as others have said. But the kit does not include a 2.5 exhaust unless you order the big kahuna I think. You can use the stock exhaust as I did but you will need the 1320 v2/v1 header. I would also recommend getting the 105mm pulley. It comes with a 110 but the 105mm will need a 2.5 exhaust for that. I installed a 2.5 exhaust from PLM about a month ago so I could go to the 105mm pulley. Didn't need a new tune. It took awhile for me to get used to the new exhaust sound but I like it now. Wife is deaf so she has no opinion. You're going to love the supercharger. I would not own a sling without one now that I had a taste. Good luck and just plan on a winter install doing a step or two at a time. No rush with snow on the ground.

I think I am on the fourth seal (Warrenty) on Sling I and Sling II is leaking
Guess I'm lucky. 91k with original seal.

Just buy a Quart of 75w140 full syn gear oil and squirt it in the fill hole until it starts to run out.

You didn't address the stupid majority in CA. Dems must love having the homeless live in the streets and now on their beaches. It's pathetic!

And the STUPID people in California voted down Newsom's recall. I just can't believe how ignorant 1/2 of the American population is.
