I have 3" harness and wish now I went with 2". They are Ok but they seem heavy at times . I would like to make a way to release them at times
and just use Polaris Seat belts in local running.
I put the harness in for wife because of my heavy cornering that I do in SS.
I put the slots in plastic behind seat to bolt to roll bar bolts.

I hope to have it done by Maggie Valley Time..I still want to cut off or down size the fin and still want to
make some body work around the rear mufflers in rear.
Want a full roof on it at some point.
I was not going to do front end this year but some idea hit me and I started cutting.
    No going back now.
All other changes I could make it stock in 4 hours not no more.LOL
Any one want a started custom SS.LOL
I always say when I am close to being done Polaris will come out with my SS I always wanted to see.
Not !! But you never know>>>LOL

That is not helping me ..I thought if riding Adirondacks was anything close to Maggie I would try it out.

I have a sick aunt in Maggie valley I visit but if Adirondacks is really sort of boring I would skip the SSR
Rally and just keep my rooms for SS rally for 2017.

I am sure there are some nice rides in NY but Maggie Valley sure is one beautiful motorcycle riding area!

I was at Maggie Valley this year and did not go to NY Adirondacks..
Just purchased a Chevy SSR and they have a show 3 weeks before our SS show in Maggie and to far to travel to both shows.

I do like Maggie Valley for SS Rally but who went to both Rally's Maggie and Adirondacks and think riding SS
in Adirondacks was still worth the trip compared to Maggie ????

I made 2 sets in a year.. My first were mounted to the bolts that hold the hub and had 9/16" bolts and they were ok but felt fender
shook little more than I cared for it too. But they were the metal trailer fenders. So I scraped both.

I will take pictures tomorrow of how I mounted these fiberglas fenders and they are solid.
Used scrap material and will re make them in spring.
But glad I did the test and feel comfortable with new mounting.

If you put 1k in you are numbered and that is the people who get first production vehicles and with them still trying to draw money after 3 yrs they are
rasing price from 6800 to 7300 and if you are 1k invested you get it for 7k now.
But 3 yrs and still people are drawn to putting down 1k. If it were not for the low number 1420 I have I would not have put 1k down.
It just pays to wait it out and see .
Wife and I just purchased a 2003 slingshot yellow SSR with 1,500 miles in storage for 13 years. what a beauty !

We have a Lotus Evora/ Chevy SSR now and my wife misses the Panoz Roadster the most of all the cars we owned.
But with no heated garage all the suspension was starting to rust and did not want to restore it to keep it.
Well today is a ride along the river in SSR top down , going to be 85 degrees in NJ and taking a break from SS.LOL

The 2 toys I like the best but were to small to drive down interstates were the Honda 650 JZR and the Moto Guzzi Triking.
30" tall and 11' long I could go under a tractor trailer and my wife was not comfortable with my way of driving.
I usually scare most in SS when I take people for rides.. Now that is what I like.

I am much more satisfied with the new direction and more simple.. With cutting off the SS fender frame and I agree without the lights sticking out at top that bottom spoiler
does not look portion without something above it..The picture here is no spoiler and was going after the VW 3 wheeler look and I could have pulled it off and not to say in
few years I may still do it. But all fenders and hood would be needed to be made and I am tired of this being apart and not driving it.
I had cut the headlights off and re welded them back just to go to Maggie Valley.
But what I have done now is make a smaller top to cover lights and still have my wheel fenders exposed to give it a open roadster look from side view.
I actually like SS from front view but hated the side view with tall front fenders and the piece on back hanging there that was side panel going nowhere.
So will post pictures if I get good weather next few weeks to fiberglas some.

Also picture of my old 1999 Panoz roadster which I like the fenders and sort of copied .

No I tore it apart ..I was trying to make it look on lines of Morgan and after wrapping it in aluminum/ fiberglas.
I realized that SS was just to big for that much body work..
This is fiberglas version and I had a aluminum version with more rounded rear fiberglas is squared off in back.
But do have on photo of it ..

I just cut all my slingshot fender and frames off mine today to make new covers for headlights.
Will show in spring when finished..
Most people come by and can not believe I cut a 2016 vehicle apart..
But just hope it makes me happy.
This is the 3rd build of this since last year.

I started out with trailer fenders from tractor supply for first fenders. I had a Panoz Roadster and luv the fenders on it.
So I started fiberglassing my own fenders and took approx 5 fenders to get the right size and fit.
In spring will show new fenders and body work that I have been working on.

Well Sept of 2013 #1420 all in at 1k.. I doubt it will ever see the road. If it does than 1k was worth it.
Just wanted a unique toy to add to garage.
