I think we should change the name of the thread from CT fellas post up here to the CT ball busting page! LOL
It looks like we all graduated from the same School" BBU" Ball breaking University!
Its nice to see a group of riders who aren't a bunch of snowflakes and that can give and well take, And have a little lite hearted fun.
I can't wait till this riding season starts so we can get together for a ride and a beer hopefully it will be soon my brothers.

At Jim's Dealer when you pick up your SS and ask what was wrong?
    Service manager to Jim
Wow Jim it was really messed up we found that your brass Giggler pin was bent and had fallen out we could not reach it with out a complete disassembly of your Slingshot but thank god for our MIT tech he had a special brass magnet to pick it up! WE replaced your Giggler pin and Giggler fluid and cleaned up the leaked Giggler fluid on your Slingshot with a bucket of steam! We also found the you Polaris Modulator was not modulating with in Polaris spec so Our MIT tech ordered a high tech high impact micro adjusting tool just to re-modulate your modulator. Jim being impressed walk out Happy while MIT tech asked the service manager what the hell is a high impact micro adjusting tool? umm it's a hammer! :00000028:

No Jay there is a Kid named Ed he works in the graphic arts dept. He's the one who prints up all the certified Polaris /MIT
engineering certificates for Jim's dealer so Jim will feel better after they charge him $400.00 to say no all slingshot do that or sound that way your sling shot is normal just dive it, Trust us we have an MIT certified Tech. look at it just for you! :00000014::00000008::00000004:

Yeah just missed you I was heading out when you texted me I took rt79 to rt148 then on 81 down to Clinton past "Jays house" lol then on rt 146 back to New Haven.

Just picked my Slingshot up at the dealer all warranty work complete plus had him do the 15,0000 mile service while it was there what they did on mine.
    Fuel line replacement and clip
    Secondary brake bleed procedure
    Swing arm recall
    steering shaft bolt screw replacement
    hood bumper replacement kit

On the drive home felt like the Slingshot was new again brake were tight and no play in steering and no squealing from the belt! nice and quite so I hope I'm all set for the spring riding season

I used to shoot with a bow for years Jay, Very fun but I don't think it is a cheap hobby by any means
I would start with good equipment a nice compound bow with a 45lb pull for your Son and a 55 to 65lbs for you
if you a going to shoot targets indoor you might want to look into a Scope and weight stabilizers and a hand release
I haven't shot for over 20 years but it was a good time with my father when I did.
I been out of it so long I couldn't tell you what Bows are good now but in my day it was Bear ,Jennings and PSE
I had a Jennings Arrow-Star 4 wheel compound I used for competition shooting it was the best back then, I have no clue what is good today.

If I keep reading this thread I think I'm going to have to start drinking more holy crap.
Can't imagine that happening to my kid dam glad he is getting better.

Nothing now seems he was just one of Fred's friends who just wanted to bust balls on what is considered a Motorcycle.
nothing recent after a few back and froths.
but I am hoping to run into this guy someday maybe a face to face discussion is in order 8o

Yep one of those days when you think its going good then boom you get smacked down.
But you manned up and took care of business Jay, Time for a cold one and a pat on the back buddy!
Its also a good learning experience for your Son it shows you don't panic you man up and fix it!
    Good job Jay.

Well I thought that Ct united ride was behind me but I guess not now got some num nut trying to troll my review
