    @Drew71646, Explore their website http://www.focal-america.com
You will be impressed with the systems they offer. I have to agree with you on the price...but you definitely get what you pay for. In this case, you get a helluva' bang for your buck! I've witnessed the quality up front and personal. You will not be disappointed. Now I am officially jealous...but in a good way!!! If this is your choice, congratulations my friend.

Just to be clear, I truly appreciate the vendors on here right now, and mean no harm in inquiring. I'm just looking to broaden my horizons in effectively emptying my wallet!!!!
DISCLAIMER: {No ill intent was meant or directed toward any of the vendors we already have in the making of this post)

Choices --- some times to many!!!!!!! And one good one says NO to some others.

Start out by making a list that contains some of the things you consider important. Once you start looking at the different luggage systems, you will be able to narrow down the list quite substantially. The big thing...do your homework, first!!!

Just an observation, and a question. Has an invitation been extended to the vendors on the other sites to join/advertise here? Having to bounce back to the other sites to view their sites is getting a little monotonous, at best. I guess I could just create a shortcut for a "quick pick" in the Favorites File. Just thought it would be nice to see the other vendors here, as well. Am I way off base on this one?

Nothing makes us ole ladies happier than our hubbys wanting us near...
We were looking at the saddlebag type that we could attach to the roll bars... its half the price for the slingmods... but... not being able to give it a once over before purchasing kinda leaves us wondering if the med size is sufficient and if the bags will rub on the paint...

@airoutlaw was looking at the bags last night, and I talked him out of it... Id like to see how a trip fares with the storage we got and save the dollars for another slingmod...lol packing light, and staying at a hotel with laundry facilities may just work. We shall see...

Picked up two of these Sedici bags at Cycle Gear for $111 each. Velcro straps make it impossible for the bags to slip and touch any of the painted surfaces. Bags are pretty roomy. The picture shows the top portion scrunched down, because I don't have the rain gear shoved in yet. My wife actually likes them more than me...and I LOVE them. (Especially the price)

Yep, never wanted Dad to bring on the discipline. He would explain why we were about to recieve an education in life. He made sure we understood the reason, what he expected of us in the future, and what would not be tolerated. Any area of the backside from shoulder blade to back of knees was acceptable, but buttocks were most concentrated. If you put your hands up to defend, those were self-inflicted wounds and would always carry an extra whack to the backside. Depending on the offense, it was a belt or a switch (a willow-like limb from a tree). You knew it was gonna be bad if he sent you to the tree to get your own switch. His comment, "Get a good one or I will pick it out." Was never really sure of his reasoning for "picking our own"... if it was to allow us time to think about what we had done or to see what we were willing to accept as discipline... either way, it was always hard to see the limbs for the tears. You always knew when the talking was done when you heard him say, "This is gonna hurt me more than it does you." At the time as a child, that never made sense... then my kids enlightened me. I made my Dad cry and my kids made me cry. My Dad passed away from cancer in 1995, one year after I retired from the military and I had moved back to his home town. My Dad set the path for me, and with the help of friends and family, I have been walking that path since I was seventeen. Thank you Dad for every lesson I had to learn the hard way, love ya!

I can still remember the time I brought my mom and dad to tears at the same time. We had company at the house and they brought their kids with them to keep me company and, hopefully, out of mischief. Of course, that didn't work! I was caught being the "badass child" that I was, and was sent out to fetch my own whipping switch! Balling my eyes out, I knew this was going to be the ass-whoppin' of a lifetime. I had broken the cardinal rule..."Don't act up when we have company!" I proceeded into the backwoods to find my "just due"!! I didn't dare bring back a wimpy switch, because I knew the consequences would be worst. I found, what I thought, would do the trick. This limb was bigger than me, but I knew that I had truly pissed off my parents. So, here I come, out of the woods, across the front lawn, crying my eyes out as only a bad-ass 6-year old can do, dragging a small tree that would make Paul Bunyan smile. On the front porch, stood all of my folk's company with my parents standing in front. I was too busy crying and pleading my case to notice everybody laughing. My dad took one look at the "tree-switch" that I had brought, and turned around to everyone and said..."He may be my youngest, and he might not be the brightest cookie of the bunch, but he still knows how to make his daddy's day!" My parents were laughing so hard, they had tears in their eyes. I'm still here, so I obviously didn't get the beatdown I deserved. He did, however, provide me with enough "motivation" to never "act up when we have company"! I just buried my father in April of last year, and I'm still living the lessons he taught me. My message to everyone...Stay true to your roots and don't be afraid to "share" those lesson we were all taught. What's that old saying??? "Beat what you grow" or is it "You reap what you sow"???? Either way, take care of what you have at home, and you won't have to worry about someone else taking care of it for you.

Right on! Also known as "applying the board of education to the seat of knowledge!"

I still get that funny feeling in my stomach whenever I see a paddle!!!! I had more than my share...but I deserved it, most of the time. Okay, all of the time!!!

I can still remember the morning school prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance, and getting my come-uppings for being "the class clown". When those went away, guess what moved right on in?!?!?!? Yep!!! Times...they are a changin'!!!!

A little help on this one...please! I have an aquintance in our neighborhood, interested in getting his hands on an SS. I don't know the whole story behind the SS in this post. I'm not fearing the loss of friendship, in that I don't associate with this individual in that capacity. The question...Do I turn him on to this deal? I'm holding off, because I don't have a solid feeling on this one. Maybe I should go with my gut and just let this one go. Thanks for listening. I think I have my answer.

    These are great systems.....
how would you guys rate music listening ? Really Do appreciate all responses!

Music quality is crystal clear with the SENA SMH10 system...for that matter, any of the SENA systems will provide clear music quality. You lose the ability to fine tune the sound because there is no EQ function. This is normally not a big issue for someone driving at mach speed. Quality is enhanced when using a full-faced helmet, in that, very little loss of sound is experienced in the enclosure. On the other side of the coin, 1/2 helmets experience quality loss due to wind buffering. Yes, I spent an incredible amount of time researching this prior to making my initial purchase. Mind you, I was using the full face helmet at the time. Music quality was great, as well as person-to-person conversation.
Now, I have to go back to the drawing board to figure out who is better with the 1/2 helmet.

I use the Sena SMH10 in the Bell Sena helmet designed for it. It works but with somewhat impaired hearing I don't get enough volume plus the sound quality isn't what it should be IMO.

That's the unit we use with our full-face. It has worked great for the entire 4-years we used them. I don't know whether it's my wife's voice or the terrific volume of the headsets, but I hear her loud and clear when she says its time to stop for a bathroom break!!!! 8o=O8o

Wifey and I are using the SENA -10 system. Works great with the full-face helmets. We recently switched over to 1/2 helmets because of the heat. We're curious to see what systems are available. Kinda' like the setup you displayed. Got an info on it?
