Thanks for the review I'm hoping mine will be in here in a few weeks.
Trust me... you will not be disappointed!

@Dave@DDMWorks looking good. I’m liking those what appear to be billet clips on the coolant lines. Is that a new addition?

System was installed September 8th
Finally had a chance to test the system this past weekend during a 400-mile ride. By no means, I consider myself a technical mechanical engineer, so I will most likely be using layman's terminology to give my perspective.
If I had to use one word: IMPRESSIVE!
This turbo system, in my opinion, provides plenty of power across the RPM range. Responsiveness is unbelievable did not experience any noticeable turbo lag - you press the gas pedal, and the power is there. It feels like I purchased a new machine and it is an entirely different driving experience.
System design- In my view, this is a very well thought out turbo system for the Polaris Slingshot from the selection of the turbo core to all of the components that come with the kit. The final install looks extremely clean.
Thank You @Dave@DDMWorks for introducing yet another quality product to the Slingshot world.
Now it is time for me to start investing in tire companies. Looks like I will be a direct contributor to increased quarterly profits as a result of the newly found horsepower.

@MADDMOE might need to talk to you. I have a clicking sound on the passenger side. The dealer could not figure it out.
-
I looked at those they are cool as hell. How do you like all your new found power
It like I bought a brand ne machine. The turbo is really impressive.

@Ross I see the dealer side in this case, this appears to be an electrical issue and trust me this Slingshot has a lots of wires. The dealer does not want to touch it with 10ft pole with fear that they will run into issue with the aftermarket work.
I think this will come down chasing wires down the harness and see which one is shorting.
As far as Polaris goes they wanted pics of the sling when they saw it they said so long.

@Ross
It’s a 2016.Polaris told the dealer it could be the Crank Shaft sensor the dealer did not want to replace it so he ordered it and I replaced that. Did not fix the issue.
We disconnected the battery.
This issue just started out of the blue. He has a lot of audio work (lots of wires) that was done a few years back.
-
Forum memebers any assistance is appreciated. Trying to help a sling buddy solve this issue so he can ride again.
Here are the symptoms of the issue. When he hits a bump he looses throttle. The engine still runs but can’t give gas. The dealer refuses to put his hands on the machine because he has mods.
I’m thinking it has to be a short in one of the 5v sensors in the harness. Big question which one

If you scroll all the down you will see a voltage number. The circuit will only turn off once the battery reached that voltage. That voltage number is also user set as a safety not to drain the battery
-
Peg try this. In what ever port of the box in the app.
Click settings
Select off timer settings and chose him many minutes/hours you want to run power to that circuit after the key is turned off -
Maybe I have been looking in the wrong places, where can I find parts for our SlingShot without paying shipping charges?
Thanks,
Bill
Bill, try this site they usually offer free shipping on orders over $99
Buy Honda,Polaris,Kawasaki,Yamaha,Suzuki,Can-Am,KTM,Parts -
Maybe the day of the week it was born...never buy a vehicle made on Monday or Friday...
I think you are right. That first 8k Miles were trouble free nothing eventful other than recalls.
-
Well let’s see what else can go wrong by Saturday. Battling it out with Polaris this week.
List of issues:
Leaking master cylinder
Rear wheel bearing is shot
Passenger side front hub is shot
Stearing angle sensor is shot
The infamous break switch (third time)
Clutch switch to be replaced yet again.I think I might just burn it to the ground.

@MACAWS Still waiting!

In Waltham has been installing Rev kits on slingshots -
If @MACAWSdoes not stop traveling to DDM, I’m afraid we will not see our turbos anytime soon. I think he high jacks the delivery truck every time Borg ships something.
