I sprayed California all over mine seems to work like a charm 😜

You're one of those "lucky souls" that I mentioned.

Looks like we're having a brown Christmas. My wife puts a palm tree Christmas tree ornament in the window every year. She has a niece and nephew in California and we have a son and grand daughters in Florida. None of us will have snow for Christmas this year.

Your weather today will be mine in the morning.... Let me know when the good weather is on the way.

You're in luck. The temps are supposed to warm a bit overnight. The next 7 to 9 days, we can expect temps to be above average and no snow.

Here's hoping that I just wasted a bunch of RainX. I'm dreaming of a brown Christmas.

    File under helpful hints.

I saw in one of those "get ready for winter" articles that spraying RainX on your mud flaps will keep the snow and slush from building up.

Same article (and my neighbor) say to spray the entire working area of your snowblower for the same reason.

So, I bought a new bottle of the stuff today and sprayed my RAV4 and my snow blower.

    We'll see.

For those of you who do not need a snow blower and/or never get slush buildup on you mud flaps . . . well, aren't you just the luckiest souls?!?!?!?!? :)

openair Take it slow with that shoulder! It was a solid year before I felt anywhere near back to normal. My left one needs to be done too but I’ll be damned if I wanna go through that again ! Take care!

Amazing the number of people who have had it done. I know a few who have had both done.

Our local hospital/clinic is 12 blocks away and they they have a really GREAT staff. I went three times a week until the surgeon released me 2 weeks ago. Still doing the exact same exercise every morning in my basement.I can tell it is improving.

The day the surgeon released me, I took a dozen donuts and a dozen chocolate cupcakes and a poster expressing my appreciation. There is 1 male and 8 females, so plenty to go around. I told them I was being nice to insure good treatment the next time I need their services! They all said, "Hurry back. See you again." I'm ALMOST going to miss them.

I bought a TI99/4A in 1980. Texas Instruments stopped making them a few months later, and stopped all support. If you wanted a program, you wrote it yourself in Extended Basic.

I currently have two desktops (using a KVM switch so I don't need two of everything), two tablets, 3 laptops and a Chromebook, which I'm on right now. And, of course, a smartphone.

There must be something wrong with me. I do have a three wheeled contraption that thinks it's a spaceship, so . . .

My first 20 years of driving, I never drove an automatic. Now. everything I have is auto, except for the Sling.

I take pride, however, in knowing that I can jump in, or on, a vehicle and drive it. Stick, auto, 3 speed, 4 speed, 5 speed, column, floor, rotary dial or pushbutton.

I had a SAAB that had a 4 speed on the column. First was where reverse would usually be. For reverse, you pulled up, then out, then down. Made rocking it in snow almost impossible, but then, the SAAB was ALMOST impossible to get stuck.

I bought a car cover at Menard's. It was on sale for $15. (Cheap? Me?. Darn right!!!) It was for a Toyota Corolla, but I bought it to cover my Honda Gold Wing trike when it was in the garage.

I now use it to cover the Sling. It is 7 or 8 years old, but has never been used outside. Amazing how much dust settles in corn picking and soybean harvest season. We are surrounded by farms, and the dust carries for MILES.

I'd still figure out a way to lose just the 10mm....

Somewhere in the universe, there is a galaxy that is made up of billions and billions of 10mm sockets and missing socks (without mates) from Earth, circling a black hole composed of half used rolls of duct tape (have you EVER finished a roll of duct tape?).

If at all possible you may want to keep the sling also. I've been riding two wheels for close to 40 years and bought the sling for a few reasons. First I noticed my legs cramping at red lights and second I thought it may be time for a change (and the sling just looks cool). When I first got the sling I thought it was great but lacked something on the motorcycle. Funny thing, I purchased a used motorcycle to discover how much the sling had grown on me. I have both, but now the sling is the ride of choice and the motorcycle doesn't get much ride time.

Some days, you just have to see the horizon tilt. My 400 Yamaha sits patiently in the corner until the urge hits.
