    Well all I can say is my ripchair has been listed for sale at 38k ,so as soon as it sells it will give me some play cash to get that kit among many other things a SS project will need ..I have to have two organs removed next Thursday due to tumors and stones ,then two weeks later all the chest fat and 4 lumps in there removed & then two weeks later my spine has to be operated on ..so hopefully by the time my crippled ass has gotten healthy again and able to roll around in my wheelchair ,I will have the ripchair sold and a good candidate picked out ,and it will be well on it’s way to being finished or at least started ..
    I just want something to increase my heart rate a ton in this Crippled army vets ass,before I also have heart surgery down the road ..I’ve put that off to last so just Incase my number is up ,& I’ve been healthy enough to sky dive a few more times and gotten to feel a like like the racer I once was :) rangers lead the way ..but I’m also old enough now to know once in awhile we have to follow as well...lol...
    He biggest issue is just getting in and out ,& either doing a lift or modded the frame and installing a wheelchair holder

    Thank you for your service. People such as yourself are the absolute reason we have the opportunity to get out and Slingshot around.

  • Motorcycle inspections

    Somehow this thread got to be about more than just motorcycle inspections. No biggie but I thought I would chime in about insurance. I have a company that is actually a customer of mine and they gave me full coverage on mine for $505 a year. I do have a $1000 deductible but I just thought I would share if you guys are paying to much. Most wanted $1300 for same coverage. Btw, my SS was $31000. Its Frye Insurance in Bristol Va if anybody wants to give them a shot.

    Can't do that far south. The little woman and I have been thinking about seeing Chattanooga Tennessee one weekend before winter. We have been looking at the rides on line, "Bikers' Dozen" by Eddie Rahm. Maybe something late September? Interested?

  • Corvette challenge

    My $0.02 I was at the Back of the Dragon entrance at Hungry Mother Park in Marion Va. Vette rode my a**. My girlfriend said, " get em" I did. I could hear him pushing it. By the time we got to the top of the mountain and got out and drank some water he came by. He wouldn't even look our way. It was yellow. I so wanted to be juvenile and ask him where he bought his taxicab.

  • Does anybody get motorcycle waves?

    This is a little on topic but kinda off. I get waves about 60 percent of the time. Most of the non wave guys are on Harleys. Makes me wanna buy a Boss Hoss and never wave at them. I pulled in the Bobarosa Saloon which is not far from the "Tail of the Dragon". Harleys as far as you could see. 2pm on a Saturday in June. Place was packed. You would have thought I landed in a UFO. Lol!!!! It was fun.

    The first short trip we took was to an Amish store of Interstate 81. It was crowded as all get out. 50+ cars there. As I went through the parking lot, the car in the very first parking space by the door came open and I swooped in. 90 minutes later when we left; my girlfriend said she felt like a Kardashian. I said, " Well if you feel like a Kardashian, you should have paid!!!" :):):):):):):):)

  • Motorcycle inspections

    Any dealer who refuses to do a vehicle inspection while you wait, doesn't deserve anyone's business. I can understand needing to leave a vehicle in situations where warranty work is needed and manufacturer approval is required or if parts must be unexpectedly ordered. Just about all other service should be offered on a while-you-wait basis if the shop load can handle it.

  • Polaris Factory Tour

    I was late to the SS game and can't believe I missed such a great event. I got my SS in late April. Who was smart enough to set this up? Count me in for next year!!!!! Where do I sign up?
