I sure wish I lived closer... I promise you this event is going to be so much cooler than the Ozarks next weekend. Only good thing about next weekend, getting to see and meet people from here.
123hotdog you sure put on one hell of a shindig!
Thank you, but make no mistake about it, MACAWS has been there every step of the way. I might be driving this ship but he has kept a hand on the wheel to make sure I didn't get in rough water.
When this event was planned we checked the weather. The average high and low was 78 and 58. We set a record today in the 90's so it's considerably warmer here now. It will be high eighties low nineties this weekend. I want people to know so they can plan their attire.
Drum Roll please. Okay. I have waited a long time to be able to actually post these pictures. I do believe we are ready.
Look what the man in brown brought my Slingshot brothers and sisters today.
The menu at the Shady Valley Country Store for the Saturday ride.
Anybody need an adjustment while your here? A customer of mine was kind enough to let me put that up this week.
Here is a short boring video I found of the Country store in Shady for the Saturday ride.
I have 2 more meeting me up there Friday night and riding through Saturday night... I didn’t want the number count to explode, so I didn’t make a FB post.
123hotdog add Tim and Brian to the list... they really don’t do a lot of online stuff. But I’ll try to get them registered on the forum.
Awesome
36 Slings registered?! Anymore expected? I can't wait for us to hit the road..
There is more. Three I know of.
Is it time to leave yet? Are we there yet?
Just make that phone call to work and then after that Bob Barker; "Come on Down!!!!!"
Well it pains me greatly to say this. There will be no outdoor fire this week at Mayhem in the Mountains. The conditions here are just too dangerous for an outdoor fire.
The good news is we have so much outdoor lighting that the power company might just pay us a little visit. Or they might just think my cheap a** finally got air conditioning.
We will be there twins replaced on go again.

When you guys coming in to town?
FunCycle and I are riding for the first time (yea we prob ride twice) today at 11am. You folks don't have to say it, I'll say it for you.
We are running ten degrees above normal this week. Hot for here. High 80's low 90's. 20% chance of a brief pop up shower in the evening but no widespread rain of any kind.
Welcome Will&Holly. A photo in honor of you registering.
Okay folks it has been super dry here for awhile and that is making for some great riding but it does come at a small price. My road has about 150 foot stretch that is gravel. Dusty dusty dusty. The slower you go the better (we all know this but some of the people that live out here missed that day of middle school).
Here is the addresses to some old school car washes:
Triton Express Wash 7 miles from dealer
2894 Lee Highway
Bristol Va
Quality Car Wash 2.5 miles from dealer
974 Volunteer Parkway
Bristol Tn
I do realize you folks can use google but sometimes it doesn't say whether its an old school car wash or not and those things are slowly becoming a thing of the past around here.
Got a ride in this afternoon.
How many of us have seen this?
