The 2016s have a shitty little battery in it. But as bones pointed out, it should not drain down when in the off position unless something is drawing power. If so, that's not good. If you leave the lights on, that will weaken the shitty little battery. You might want to consider putting a larger or deep cycle battery in it if you plan to leave the lights on when not running for show. You should be able to charge the battery in, but it is tight in there.

One other thought, instead of staying on Rt 4, get off and take Rt 128. It goes across a covered bridge at the intersection of RT 7. Plus you ride down the side of the Housatanic River some more with nice views.

The restaurants I recommend would be the White Horse in New Preston. We can cross over from Rt 7 to Rt 202 on Rt 341. Or if you want to back track a couple of miles, 341 hits 45 and goes around the side of Lake Waramaug. The other Resturant is Down the Hatch in Danbury which we can get to fron New Milford down Candlewood Lake Road which has some good lake views as well.

I took the riding mower out for the first time this season. Battery dead - no surprise there. There was mouse crap in the top of the engine. So I looked around and didn't see any damage. I got my spare battery and jumped it, everything. Seemed fine. Drove up to the house and took the blower to get all the crap off. Then I noticed smoke coming off out of the engine compartment from a little circuit board. It smoked some components that engages the blades. So I had to mow using the push mower! Took me 5 hours and my body is sore. Worse part is I am going away on business for a week and do t know what the hell to do with that tractor. Got so pissed I showered and to the SS ouf for a ride to the mall and then CVS.

Yeah, unfortunately I have to clean up and get my first mow in. Then I have plenty to do as I am leaving for a week long business trip out of BDL in the morning. I went for a ride yesterday to Saugatise, NY via back roads to pick up some bee supplies. Great ride. Came home and went back out to Danbury and up 37 to NM. I was looking for ya Phil but didn't see ya.

Tony, how about all those roads around the Candlewood Lake area? We could jump over the border into NY and ride 22. Paul said that road is beautiful! Maybe @Publius (Matt) could lead us around there. That's kinda near where he lives!!

yup, I know a few roads up in these parts. I'm right off of Rt7 and Rt37 between Sherman and New Milford. This is biker heaven up this way. After I left Libby's I couldn't resist and went up to Kent and the town was loaded with bikes since the weather was beautiful.
