Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for the amazing Slingshot adventures I have had this year. But most of all I'm thankful for those of you who became my friends/family. I had no idea what that cross country trip would mean in my life.

Happy Birthday! Enjoy!

I had the Outsider installed at SSITR. With a F4+3 windshield, Jeff told me there might be fumes. Other than the burn off, no problems. He did mention the rear wind deflector if necessary, but glad it wasn't!

So sorry to see this. Prayers.

Wow! I can probably manage that! I hate meeting large trucks on two lane roads due to fender flap. Thanks for the great idea!!
-
Thanks for getting this going @V-SHOT - I was too lazy. I am not much at photographing adults, but love the kids. Guess I'm not much for putting them in order either. The girls in the photos are sisters. The little one jumped up and down when she received her bike and she was ready to ride!! Hers had a doll carrier behind her seat - so cute. This was such a fun event thanks to a lot of work by @Slingsue, et al. Plus a chance to spend time with the SS family!! @Nemesis1701 - thanks for the 'adorable'

Just catching up on this thread after being in slow Internet land. You all have fun and be safe! Wish I could be in two places at once, but we'll have our fun on the toy ride!! Probably warmer weather as well. @KayTwo, the scratch looks awful - from the person who has hit the fender loading more than once.
-
These are Bella's first approach to her SS! Look at that smile!
-
Unfortunately, @KayTwo isn't in the photo!! Maybe someone can photo shop him in. @mytoy and @barbie, glad you are safely home - I just pulled into WalMart with a whole bunch of RVs spending the night.
Thank you those of who posted photos! I think everyone who wasn't there can tell we had a wonderful time welcoming Crystal home! Just such a great memory which I lived on the drive today!
@KayTwoand @sideseatdrivers hospitality continued this morning with coffee and breakfast plus 'care packages' for we overnighters! They definitely deserve that award - thanks for awarding it @Tripod - er, I mean Brenda!
-
Sorry I wasn't there to help - I miss pressure washing! Pressure washer my Mother's Day gift one year - by request!!
-
What a fantastic day! Thanks @KayTwo and @sideseatdriver for hosting this great gathering - along with @V-SHOT and @av8ingtom! @Tripod, a thrill to meet you and your family! Yes, Tripod is a quick wit without the computer! I wish everyone could have seen Bella's reaction to the mini SS - priceless. Just so nice to be with this great bunch. @Slej and @Smoochie, glad you could come by for a bit - looking forward to the healing process to be complete. So good to see everyone and meet new friends. Now on to Florida!

Bad news, bub. You're gonna have to stop driving like an old fart if you want to generate enough breeze through the cockpit to stir those new pigtails of yours.
OUCH!
-
I totally agree, Brenda...
Leave it to you @Tripod uh I mean Brenda.
-
Glad you all had a good, safe ride! Sorry I missed it, but due to campground closing for season, I had to leave Lynchburg and come back to Gloucester - couldn't find an in between stop that would work.
-
I just want to say how much I appreciate having your real names on here so I can make associations with your forum name and memorizing them! My memory isn't what it used to be!

I have the trailer cover and being on the road full-time, it has been used cross country and then some. With the plus 3 windshield, there was wear at the corners so I put microfiber between the windshield and cover now. I also use the cover off the trailer all the time in RV parks though I don't cinch it down. For the Across America trip, I bought a Rain-X car cover - dumb move and I should have just taken the trailering cover with me.
-
ONLY 1100 miles?!? WOW! That is dedication. I wish you safe travels and fair weather. Everyone be safe inbound.
After 9000 miles for Slingshots Across America, this should be a piece of cake!
-
29th til 4th. Only driving 1100 miles one way for this one coming from Kansas.

Bringing money to the party.
