Sorry, @Live-a-Little! Somebody added to the original post and I did not look at the dates... I make a point of reading posts that pop up right from the beginning - I missed the older dates sorry my bad

Does anyone have a PDF of the instructions they could post?
I would like to read so I can compare the different approach with these buttons vs others offered that mount through the existing hood bumper location.
Thanks
Hey @Live-a-Little! - You are putting too much thought into this... If you search this site you will find that @mniron has an impeccable reputation and a great product. Why not just buy them and spend the time you are researching them and really live a little

I have a Scorpio alarm on my Sling and really like it. If you subscribe to the Rever app it has all kinds of cool features. It texts me when the sling is started or if there is a shock to the sling. It will also tell me where the sling is at and map out the routes traveled, miles traveled, and share them in their community.
I really don't mind much if folks sit in my Sling and take pictures. I have walked up on people sitting in my Sling and offered to take the picture. When I do a show I think every kid ends up getting a pic in my sling.

I like the short throw shifter and the flat bottom steering wheel. The really loud horn is pretty cool also. I do really like my floor mats. The extended range hood opening is almost a must have.
Pick your poison... I will have you changing everything - it is just slightly more expensive the gambling, booze, and women

This Should probably be in the mods section and not a separate thread but... Again, I am totally impressed with one of the community members products - Dieter Stueckle AKA @mytoy that I think it is worthy of a thread.
I must admit that when I first saw the MYTOY covers, I really liked them but I thought they were a bit pricey. I really did not like the looks of the Twist Dynamics covers at all (they are really pricey). Then MYTOY came out with a package price for all 5 pieces he makes which made it tempting... then MYTOY had a 4th of July sale... SOLD
So I got the Complete set of covers, double nut, cam adjuster bolt, and brake clutch at a discounted price of $160.00 instead full price less the 4th of July special. The parts came quickly and were packed with extreme care - Seriously, there was no way they were getting damaged in the mail which is nice to see. When I got them unpackaged, I was totally blown away with the quality - SUPER NICE PIECES - MYTOY even included an Allen wrench.
Here is my before and after Pics
Powder coating matches the roll bars, springs, and the A arms
The machining done on this piece was super impressive - and it looks great. Even Wifie was impressed.
I had made my own double nut cover so I have not switched it out yet...
I would recommend the cap set...

I have a 2016.5 base model SS because I wanted it in black. I knew I was going to do my own stereo and get custom wheels any way so the savings helped pay for what I wanted. After doing all my cosmetic custom work (performance starts next year) I thought that the plastic oem seats looked ugly. If it came with the seats that they come with now I probably would have kept them. The original seats were not uncomfortable IMO but the material used was ugly.
I am 6' 5" 200lbs with a 36" waist. Braum says that the seats will comfortably fit a man with up to a 38" waist. I love the way the side bolsters feel on keeping you planted. It makes you want to take those turns more aggressively LOL. Suspension is definitely my next mod. The seats when coupled with the " Planted Seat Bracket " sit about an inch higher than the originals. That actually worked out better for me because I like to look over my windshield. I have a 13" Madstad, because of my height, and the top was right at my eye view.
Another thing I like are that the seats recline. Now I can move the seat forward one or two clicks and recline back to get a more comfortable position for those long cruise type rides. The only con that I have stems from me being so tall. The top of my shoulders rest against the bottom of the plastic holes for the seat belts/harness. I am sure this wouldn't effect 99% of drivers.
Not a con but the seats definitely are not waterproof. I knew that they couldn't be with all the stitching. I drove the SS to work last night and right before leaving to come home a small cell came though that dumped buckets for about 10 mins. I wiped the seats off with a towel and still had a wet ass when I got home. Now the seats come shipped in some nice plastic bags. I am going to cut the back side of them so that they fit over the seats with the seat belts, maybe add some Velcro to seam it back together, and keep them in my cubby hole.
With all this said I think that the seats are night and day different. They are made of high quality material, the bolsters keep you planted, and one can recline for more comfort. I highly recommend them.

Blaze - Great looking seats... My only question is "I am 6' 5" 200lbs with a 36" waist." how does that work? I am 6' 5" 235 lbs with a 34" waist. I was a 36" waist at 250 lbs - Just wondering? LOL

This Should probably be in the mods section and not a separate thread but... I am totally impressed with Phil Ward AKA @mniron that I think it is worthy of a thread.
At higher speeds the fenders if my Slingshot vibrated and moved which kind of freaked the wifie out a little. I was thinking about how to stabilize them without taking away from the lines or making it look funny. I came across Phil on FaceBook and Messaged him back and fourth - I called him and he was super helpful so I told him I would buy his gen 3 hood button kit when it became available (I like to spend my money with the little guys). He messaged me when he got his kit together and I sent him money (most places don't follow up so I was impressed with that)
The kit came and it was Awesome - it had the right size hole saw, a punch and his special template - I did not get a pic of the 15 pages of instructions in color - It amazes me the companies that send instructions in black and white and you cant make out the pictures - it did not require any specialty tools (which was a bit of a bummer because I am always looking for an excuse to buy more tools)
It kind of freaks me out drilling holes in the light brackets and the hood
did I mention it freaks me out to drill holes in the hood? but Phil's instructions and template are spot on
It is too late to change your mind now...
The pins are easy to install and i like how Phil compensated for the different angles to make it easy to adjust
Super satisfied with the results - fenders don't move at all and it looks really niceThere are some other steps that i did miss documenting in my pictures, sorry
I did have to speed test them to 90 MPG and no movement... the wifie did loose her visor
I feel it was a great value and a fairly easy mod - Phil's instructions are great
