For those that have taken the Slingshot apart...where exactly does the gas tank sit? I'm trying to make sure I don't put a screw through it when I install my amp. Thanks!

You have no idea how odd the looks get when you take a cart of groceries from Costco or Sams to your SS...

Ram X mounts for both my tablet and my phone. I have spent a total of $51 and it stays where it should.

I just installed a Pioneer 10" shallow mount sub behind driver seat last Saturday. Gasket material for the door showed up yesterday so this weekend I will be doing that and looking at putting Duzs fasteners instead of bolt to hold it closed.
Pics if you get a chance. I am getting ready to do mine and want to make sure I get as much info as I can.

ok, that's exactly what I was looking for...Thanks so much @lrobbi!

Yes the passenger side is two piece. There was two of the pieces that goes on the angles portion. One has the word "slingshot" and the other one did not have the text. The one with out the text is the one on my bar.
Well now I'm jealous lol

Got around to putting my gen 2 basic floor mats in this afternoon and there was two passenger side front mats in the box. One had the word slingshot and one did not. ( love them by the way) so I was in a quandary as to what to do with the second mat, but I figured it out. Makes a dang good bar mat.......
Isn't the passenger side 2 pieces? One that goes on the floor and one that goes on the angled portion of the footwell?

Got mine back yesterday and I can't tell you how much I love not having the stock look anymore.

Sweet! Literally...
My daughter got me hooked on these when we went on a father/daughter trip to SF last year. Cannot get Kinder products here in WI though. That's a good thing for me.
Next time I head out to Prairie Du Chein I will make sure to bring you a good supply of Kinder goodies.

I think that is why Chevy is really going to be lost unless they can adapt Tesla's supercharging network in to their Battery tech. With Tesla you can do a 70-80% charge in under 25 min. That would get you close to 200 miles in the currently tesla S and maybe 150 miles in the new 3 when it gets built. I only have a 32 mile work commute and actually have charging stations that are free at work so it works out great for me. I know it doesn't fit everyone but it's a great solution for those that only do city driving.

I like the Volt, I have my money down on a Tesla 3 but I don't think I am going to stick it out. The Bolt is more interesting to me.

you might see how much the blade alone in- I have heard, (unlike canopies), it is reasonable!
I have been working with Blair at Madstad...the regular blades are only $110 to $140 depending on tint. They also have custom colors they don't list on the site.

well I guess a more specific question is...does the slingshot require a specific steering wheel quick release?

anyone? anyone? Bueler?

I got clocked doing 124 mph in a 55. I had a literal break down in front of the officer after I tried to avoid the officer. Explained that if I didn't make it back to college in time for my work study job that I wouldn't be able to stay in college. He gave me a break and wrote the ticket for 19 over...however the fine was ridiculous. I'm sure somebody had some questions.

Anyone have any experience with them? Trying to figure out if it's worth buying. Any difference from newer ones? Are they vehicle specific?

I went and hovered over a profile picture on the left and it spins around. Very cool feature! Can't believe it took me this long to notice it!
