Wouldn't a cover do more to keep people from sitting or laying on our slings? Seems I've heard of no slings being stolen and the alarm reasoning is to keep people from sitting in them.

I guess I'm not all that paranoid about the supper machine. I've invited probably a
1000 kids and gals to sit in and have a picture taken....used it that way a lot last year and collected $2,500.00 or more for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation,
and I'm sure that some have probably touched and sat in when I wasn't close
    by.

Down in South Carolina a couple of weeks ago and some young ladies were drooling of one of the other guys Slingshots so I invited them over to mine for a sit and picture....1st gal got in and had pics taken---2nd gal said she'd have to get naked to get in and it was only about 40 degrees out / been 50 she probably would have.

I bought to drive and have fun with....and let some other dream....

From what I'm seeing --- would have to trim off a little of the flat metal back(front) of the
    rack to make it work????

    I just ride don't engineer!!!!!!!!

The top of the rack is about even with the top of the roll bar

There is about 2 in space between back of rack and
and roll bar. You only need 1/2 in of play for attaching
    rack to brace bars.

Check with Henry at Alpha and let him know what top
you have and he can probably let you know what will work.

@Guardian_Angel as you and I know, the guys DON'T need much to travel
for long periods of time....not sure but I think that the way to 'Top' attaches to
the roll bar will not work with the way the rack attaches to the roll bar. Just went out and took a couple of pictures of the roll bar attachment ....
@mytoy the roof rack looks very nice.
    Hope these pics help.

With the Alpha luggage Rack you will need to remove the suitcase behind the driver, but the two straps should be easy to handle. Have added fuel with the rack in place but not loaded for a trip. No problem fueling.

I have the F4 tinted 5+ with Baker 'Air Wings' and have put 25,000+ miles on the Slingshot with that combination.

When Bruce Baker installed the wings at his shop we did a test ride and added
some bracing (washer type to hold the windshield snug.)

I will send you a set of the metal braces if you 'pm' me you
    name, address, phone.

A number of us have funneled some fresh air in

Hard to see funneled air in pics...At SSITS some of the guys
will have this done. I will be their Tue thru Sat.

Get some seat time in and some miles riding all types of roads and a lot of that
come naturally. don't push it to early---none of like to see a wrecked Slingshot
even if no one is hurt. It is a quick little machine and even when your not wanting it to it will try to get away from you....

Ride safe and enjoy....you learn how to make it go quick and fast.

looks good @Chubs, won't work with air wing... Gotta ask though, if you run into ran, mud or whatever.. what keeps your clothes from getting wet?

If you have a 'top' or 'air wing' I don't think the Alpha Rack will work either.
Some have figured out how to attached luggage to the top frame.

Red SL is what I have. I need "yes" need Something to set it apart from all the other slower reds out there. If candy paint is to brittle maybe a nice graphic design will do the trick.

One of the guys got in the WRONG 'red one' 4 or 5 times one day...Painter painted
his yellow....It's rally slow now...(Good Morning Jim Camp)...me just put my
business name on mine (tax write off) and than added the hood graphic from the
2016.5 red. (just the pin Striping)
Lots of ways to make it your "own". Have fun and watch for rides and such coming up.

i like it... if those were not so expensive... we'd have a set. Looking to see how our first packed trip to SSITS goes, and by the end of that trip we will see if that price feels any better. Have looked at motorcycle superstore and found those bags an option as well.

    Looks good @EjFord!

The 'bags' I showed were some bags that we have had for some time. I'll spray them down with some water repellent and carry some plastic garbage bags to rape them in if necessary. The Raco racks are about the same price if you buy two of them. ---- History has taught me that motorcycle stuff ==== $$$$$.
These $$$$ mean my best half will go with me on some weekend rides.

Can paint pros or those who have had an estimate done comment on the cost of a paint job . At end of riding season I want to have my sling painted candy red or orange with metal flake like the colors in the pics. any idea on cost

I have see several of @Painter very special paint projects...just awesome, AWESOME,
and for the Slingshot, he probably has done way more than any other individual
in the country. If you near Indiana---he's the man.
