.....Hey what's up , I have received my StingRay Top ( order no # SO17860 ) and love it so far , havent had a chance to get any seat time in yet as the weather isn't cooperating.......But my question is are there supposed to be wings on the rear of the sliding tops where the 3 holes are......? (Like the small red wings in this pic......?

    Thanks

Looking at the http://www.Slingshotonly.com web site, looks like everything that they are showing has a small wing on the back edge. They might have just not put one on before they shipped. I do believe the guys that own SlingshotOnly own the company that makes that top. Give them a call.

Thanks EjFord ! It's possible that the 6 sets of luggage racks that I currently have in stock will be the last that I make. I started selling these and other parts after suffering a stroke in December of 2017 as a way to engage my mind and reprogram my brain. I recovered quickly and started a major remodel on a 5 bed, 3 bath, 2,288 square foot house in March of 2018 and haven't looked back since. I've enjoyed the process and the interactions with all the forum members who have bought from me but have difficulty justifying the initial outlay of cash for the eventual modest return. I will likely discontinue making new product and will wind down the sales as I deplete my inventory. I do have 2 sets for 2015/2016 and four sets for 2017/2018/2019 model years ready to ship for anyone interested in these LIMITED EDITION luggage racks!

For anyone interested in these luggage racks...great units and great price.

Doug being in business I do understand your thought process. Glad you did well with the 'recovery'. Hope the house rehabbing continues to go well.

I joined SOG on 11/5/19 and I haven't gotten anything other than the confirmation e-mail. My snail mail address is on my account.

Ross Like the rest of us has probably been pretty busy with family stuff during the holidays … "SOG" is a completely volunteer run operation --- as for most of us in our daily lives family and work must come first.

ivor trying to register. put in options I want and try to go to 'cart' but keeps saying add more options. Checked all I want and need.

YOU WILL PROBABLY NEVER SEE THIS AGAIN.

    Thought you'd enjoy this!

It's one you want your Children and Grandchildren to read.  They won't believe this happened, but it DID

    Harry & Bess

Harry Truman was a different kind of President. He probably made as many, or more important decisions regarding our nation's history as any of the other 32 Presidents preceding him. However, a measure of his greatness may rest on what he did after he left the White House.

The only asset he had when he died was the house he lived in, which was in Independence , Missouri . His wife had inherited the house from her mother and father and other than their years in the White House, they lived their entire lives there.

When he retired from office in 1952 his income was a U.S. Army pension reported to have been $13,507.72 a year. Congress, noting that he was paying for his stamps and personally licking them, granted him an 'allowance' and later, a retroactive pension of $25,000 per year.

After President Eisenhower was inaugurated, Harry and Bess drove home to Missouri by themselves. There was no Secret Service following them.

When offered corporate positions at large salaries, he declined, stating, "You don't want me. You want the office of the President, and that doesn't belong to me.. It belongs to the American people and it's not for sale."

Even later, on May 6, 1971, when Congress was preparing to award him the Medal of Honor on his 87th birthday, he refused to accept it, writing, "I don't consider that I have done anything which should be the reason for any award, Congressional or otherwise."

As president he paid for all of his own travel expenses and food.

Modern politicians have found a new level of success in cashing in on the Presidency, resulting in untold wealth. Today, too many in Congress also have found a way to become quite wealthy while enjoying the fruits of their offices. Political offices are now for sale (i.e. Illinois).

Good old Harry Truman was correct when he observed, "My choices in life were either to be a piano player in a whore house or a politician. And to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference!

We ought to have cloned him for telling it like it is and being frugal with our tax dollars!

virginia does require helmets, however, i argue the nonremovable roof quote in the law books for virginia and ask cops to remove my roof and then find a place to store it to ride and they no longer argue with me or question it. i have not been stopped for riding without a helmet after.

And a lot of that depends on the 'day' that the LEO is having. Couple of years ago I had an officer wrote me a seat belt ticket ($25.00 & NO points) --- don't ask why he stopped me (BIG $$$ & POINTS). He was just telling me to slow down a little.

I just bought a Sparco wheel and adapter to go on my 2018 SL and the instructions did not come with it. They have also taken the product off of the polaris website. Just wanted a better look at how the adapter fits. The cutout is wider in one place and I thought the plug would fit there but there is also a notch on the back side of the adapter that has to be lined up with the rectangular hole in the clock spring. If you line the clock spring notch with the notch on the back side of the adapter the big plug will not match up with the elongated hole. thanks for any advice.

Don't know where you bought products, but give the guys a http://www.SlingMods.com a call and they will be able to get you on the right tract.
