Like you @Heavenboundx4 new to forum as well, jumped on to get some info on SSITS, info/input has been fantastic!

Like @Slingrazor stated if you want to do mods and make it your own, a base model is the way to go. We bought our Blue Fire SLE n is June of ’16, had no idea how much in terms of mods were available. We’ve replaced things we paid extra for. As @SlingRider said radio sucks, much better with ipod, sound system upgrade on wish list, just another thing we paid extra for we’ll be replacing.

From time I first saw one (internet) to time we had one in our garage was 4 days, (would have been 3 but first dealer didn’t have a Blue Fire) never even test drove it. The common denominator of everything I read was how much fun they were… looked fun to me… that was good enough.

Wife and I have a blast every time we go out in it, it’s our therapy/escape. We have 9 grandchildren who pretty much all are very active in sports, we go to all their events, baseball, football, basketball, track, soccer, it keeps us busy. Also own a 24/7 mom and pop business, not much time for us to do our thing. The SS has changed that, we now get out and have some “our” time, and it has been GREAT!

Before all said and done we’ll have more coin tied up in it than I care to admit, but the fun we have is priceless!

Thanks for info @pricejh61. Yeah @Boomer I think we'll be more of the ride and see mode than fly and drive, my wife will struggle some with curvy roads, at least she has in the past. I'm sure at times fly and drive will be hard to resist and get the best of me. I want to be able to pull over if need be to give her a break, without holding others up. We're coming in on the 26th, so as long as weather is good, we'll get some riding in before rally starts.

    Thank ya

Right now SS is up at Rev Dynamics getting digital air ride, new shoes, Corbin bags and a few other mods. I’ll be sure to post a pic or two when we get it back, Mitch is shooting for first week of April. Feel like I’m 9 years old again waiting for Christmas. :P

Thanks for the info… much appreciated!

We’re SSITS rookies, we’re signed up for 003 and 010. When we signed up we had 2 rides in same day, Ivor put us on BRP to Asheville. What can ya tell us about that ride?

My wife has some vertigo issues, thinking it may be best for us to run Dragon on our own. Couple weeks ago I went on Google maps and mapped out a couple rides, after reading FunCycle’s post, leaning more towards doing our own thing instead of the SSITS planned group rides.

Also… what can ya tell us about Poker Run?

    Thanks
