In the South, I've never had a problem anywhere I go. I would say that 80% of bikers are accepting of the concept of the sling. Needless to say, it's a warm reception everywhere you go with only the occasional sneer. For the 20% I like the saying, it's kinda like dating a stripper. They may talk bad behind your back, but secretly they wanna ride too!

Well I haven't gotten on my soap box in a while but after reading today's news I can hold back without having a place to vent. Friends the liberals are taking this country away one little piece at a time. I thought it was insane when the liberals entered young kids sports doing away 1st, 2nd, 3rd place giving a "Participant" trophy win or lose. That under their belt they now want to do away with valedictorian and salutatorian because students that don't do as well may be disenfranchised. Then to top it off at graduation - the age old custom of throwing your graduation cap in the air - they want stopped because of possible injury to students when the hats come down. ARE YOU KIDDIN ME!! They want to strip away the motivation for personal excellence in lieu of a socialistic, limp dick, welfare getting, underachieving society. As we approach Memorial Day where we pay our respects to all the fine men and women that paid the ultimate price to preserve our freedoms it needs to be pointed out to our young people WHY they gave their lives. They believed in a free country and fought, not hesitating to lay down their life for that belief. If our KIA veterans had the attitude being taught to our young - we surely would have been defeated long ago. Thanks for listening - no more steam coming from my ears anymore

Over 25 of us in the Dallas / Fort Worth area have our SS's insured through Allstate with one agent, Brian Certain. Brian said Allstate is the preferred insurance provider for the Slingshot. I have a clean record, carry 300/100/300, $250 deductible, $8,000 in accessory coverage and free trip/hazard insurance. All that for $380 a year! I have everything else through USAA so that price is without multi-car discounts.....
It would not hurt to give your local Allstate agent a call.
Tim, I'm gonna give him a call tomorrow. I wonder if he can issue policies in Arkansas?
Allstate here quoted me $926. I'm paying $898 with Farm Bureau right now. -
Sounds great so far. I work nights primarily, so I have a lot of idle time to daydream. Y'all might have already thought of this or have a better idea. I was thinking of contacting all the slingshot dealers in Arkansas for info on all sling purchases from their dealerships. I don't figure they would give us address info due to privacy laws, but if we provided a letterhead with pre paid postage, they could send it out to their sling owners.
I hate it but most owners are not on the forums. We just need a way to get the word out.

I'm waiting in anticipation for the Welter Performance Dual Rear Exhaust. IMO it dresses up the rear and take some heat away from the passenger side. I just want to hear what it sounds like in person.

Having sort of a funny issue. When I look at normal threads, I have pics from the not safe for work threads randomly placed throughout the text. It is extremely random and only happens once or twice a week. It doesn't bother me, it just makes the post text hard to follow. I strictly use an iPad to view content. Anyone else had this issue?

Sadly that is the case for a lot of mlm companies. People invest a lot of money and get burnt. I was far from the foundation, actually got in about 8 years after the launch. I was lucky to have smart mentors and a awesome team. At our peak, my team was 750 strong doing about 88K in products a month.
