Sounds like you had a good time. Sorry we missed you the other day. The walland stop was a good one. Mom ‘n Pop operation, excellent food. Worthy.

Nuc ‘em came to me with a good sounding sound system. It has Rockwood speaker pods, a JL Audio MX280/4 and a Kenwood subwoofer.
Last Friday, as I was walking past the Sling in the driveway, I could hear noises coming from under the car cover. Investigation revealed that the JL amp was sending signals to the speakers without the Sling running. The amp was hotter than heck. So I pulled the fuse to the speaker.
Trouble shot the system, with help from JL Audio tech services, we found that the amp power circuit latched on and will not unlatch even with power removed from the switched power source.
Going to have to remove that amp and return to JL for repairs. This will give my an opportunity to clean up the wiring behind the seat.
The good news is that JL had a fixed $100 fee plus shipping charges for the repairs. Checked with a couple of local audio places, they just wanted me to give them the SS and they would replace everything and charge somewhere between $500 and $2000 to get it up and rolling. I think not.

Thank you all. So far, it’s been an excellent day. I woke up aged 70. Older than my parents or either of my grandfathers. Yes, it’s a good day.
Nancy made me a delicious breakfast of eggs, cheezey grits and shrimp and andouille sausage. Yum!!!
Got some great presents this morning to boot. New pair of camp stools, a flag plate holder for the truck, two new wine glasses, a beautiful Tennessee Vols shirt and a needle point of Isa 40:31.
Plus, I’ve got this bunch of delinquents to play with.
I have been blessed beyond measure.

Let me clarify about the thread I deleted. I thought I could delete this thread we are all driving in the ground. I discovered all I could delete is my first statement.
Sorry for all this mess over a simple mistake of clicking the wrong button. Folks, we have a great website, great knowledgeable people, and we are a Slingshot Family. Our Features are all great, nothing needs to be changed, as a family do after quailing and misunderstandings, let's all kiss and make up.
This was all caused by an mistake in clicking the dislike button for the like button. I am now going back to my playground. Come check it out sometimes, Sam Owens Media and Info Section. I will give you a link.
The thread that would not die!

Why don’t you just set up a cot there?

That is good news indeed. Add to that Polaris hasn’t made any serious changes for ‘19 bodes well for our values.

I wish I could move them apart. It one of the few things I cant change. I can disable the dislike button.
In Tapatalk, there are no dislike buttons. Just saying.

yes - I saw this, and they seem to be the same as every prior year. different colors is about it unless I missed something
What’s so different about the colors? White, blue, red, orange and black. The good thing is that those of us with older SSs won’t loose so much to a new style/model.

Your surgeon looks so much better than any of mine.

Man, that’s ugly. Lived thru the one that blazed from Riverside westward to about Glendora. We were living in Cucamonga at the time. Think it was about ‘04. Had embers the size of footballs landing on the pool and on the roof. And we were a mile or so from the fire line as it passed.
