I'd ride this Vespa! Let the beatings commence!
That is not a stock Vespa...impressive.

How about a group ride to Cherokee so we can make enough money to buy some mods from the vendors
You’re dreaming, again. I never leave that place with more than I arrived with.
Legends sounds good to me.

Display MoreWE often hear the term, “The Greatest Generation”, a reference made of those who served our country during WWII. This is a story of one of those persons who personify that period. When reading and watching this film, think of this young 18 year old teenager comparative to those today of the same age. It makes you wonder if our nation could duplicate our survival.
An 18 year-old just out of high school was trained to take pictures of damage done to German targets by B-17's. He flew in a British Spitfire fitted with extra fuel tanks where the guns were. In other words, he flew over Germany unarmed...
This is probably one of the best WWII film clips out there. Stored for 61 years in two suitcases of 16mm home movies that were inherited by filmmaker William Lorton from his great uncle who served as a Flight Surgeon. Those suitcases contained 3 hours of war footage that included a compelling crash landing of a Spitfire in 1944.
Filmed in a 2005 interview with the then 83 year old pilot and seeing the expression on his face when he realizes it is him in the cockpit, is something you won't soon forget. At 18 years old, he was all alone, behind enemy lines, with no guns, no escort, and he gladly did it. They just don't make them like that anymore. It was truly the greatest generation and we owe them so much.
Here’s the video - it’s about 14-1/2 minutes. Enjoy!

Display MoreThe story of Adam and Eve has been slightly modified....
This is the real story of them. Taken from the Bible but you need to read between the lines to get the accurate translation.
God created heaven and earth...he created the most beautiful place on earth. He called it paradise, the Garden of Eden.
As with any garden it was growing nicely, but there came a time when weeds started to grow and bushes, shrubs and trees needed pruned. Leaves need raked and fallen fruit picked up. So God created Adam to tend to the garden. Which by the way makes Adam the first Mexican.
As a typical hard worker he took to his job with abandon working many long hours to make God happy. There came a point when Adam became lonely. So God knocked him out, removed his rib and created Eve.
Adam was a typical man with a strong work ethic in order to provide for Eve and to continue to make a God happy. And Eve was a typical woman. Adam was working long hard hours day after day and Eve felt neglected. She couldn’t understand that Adam was doing all this to please her. Being a typical woman she started to look for different things to keep her occupied. She started looking over the garden gate toward the forbidden tree which God warned them to stay away from in no uncertain terms.
Still curiosity drove her to wander over there while Adam blindly toiled away unselfishly trying to make life wonderful for both of them. Eve became tempted by the Devil which was disguised as a beautiful brightly colored serpent. He promised her all kinds of wonderful things and flattered her with compliments, which she joyfully accepted. She became infatuated with the serpent.
Then the Bible claims she partook of the forbidden fruit which is described as an apple....now for clarity sake and to spare women and young children from the lurid details they lied. It was not an apple....it was a banana....that’s right she partook of the Devils banana just like a typical woman. Get the picture?
When God found out about Eves evil doings he became enraged and threw both her and Adam out of the garden of Eden. Banished forever.
So Here we have Eve living with hard working Adam who just wants to keep her happy. And not only that but they are living in the most beautiful and abundant place in the world. Paradise, the Garden of Eden.
Eve was not happy living in the most beautiful place on earth. She wasn’t happy having a wonderful hard working man. So she gave up everything to satisfy her “itch”
Now for the moral of the story.
This is why we have all the relationship problems today. They can all be traced back to Eve ....it’s in the Bible and the Bible doesn’t lie.
If Eve couldn’t be happy in the most beautiful place on earth and with a wonderful guy.....how on earth could any man ever make any woman happy? What can a mere mortal man give a woman that could even come close to living in the Garden of Eden, paradise by all accounts...
There is nothing a man can do or give a woman that can ever possibly make her completely happy. There is a snake with a banana (apple) around ever corner being eyeballed by every woman. The good men of earth have no chance..against such evil. So it is written.
Ah...ya left out one small detail. Eve invited Adam to eat some of the forbidden fruit. When God asked him about it, he threw Eve under the bus.

it has nothing to do with HP heck all the angle drives that I have seen failed were from NA machines.
That’s a scary thought.

I just ordered the bags from Slingmods. These combined with the MeanSling bags should do for both of us for a week or so.

Been practicing everyday and think I’m one step closer to stacking some sweet ass dimes! I lowered the amperage a bit and switched to purple tungsten (all I can say is WOW, what a difference in the overall welding experience the purple tungsten makes). TIG WELDING IS THE TITS!!!
You’re getting there. Keep practicing.

Poifeck! Now we'll have a complete set of luggage for the trip. Thanks.
Tryng to figure out how much space there is in the storage holds behind the seats. Anyone have the measurements?
Sorry for the "dis like" but I almost got sick just reading about it.
I’m with you. I don’t eat bait.

Looks like a road debris gouge. I did a blow up of the photos. Appears to have a dent in the skin plus abraded plastic. May need filling then paint.
Thank you guys for the welcome! I will post up pics of the progress. Especially on plx gauges. I think it can help some people. Hope fully they work out as planned. They will include oil pressure, afr, water temp, boost gauge on one gauge. Only other person that I know that has a slingshot is my friend but he is not big on social media. Btw if any one wants some stock rims with tire let know. They are just sitting there. Just pay for shipping. They have maybe 200 miles on them. Stock base rims.
Another welcome to the family. This time from a suburb of El Paso - Lenoir City, TN. EP is my hometown, just displaced.
