I have had this same problem with mine also. mine all started after recalls were done and radio installed. Had two radios put in still happens. so i just wired the radio straight to my aftermarket fuse block and have not had a problem since. I have a 2017 model
My radio is factory, but I did install a Digital Guard Dawg,maybe that fed juice into other circuits.
It was at night, and we were trying to out-run the thunder storm. Little scary with lightening being the only illumination.
Thankfully the GPS ran on battery and I could see speed on there.
When I put in garage, I saw speedo was stuck at 58 mph, and tach just over 2000.
Once I changed fuse, gauges reset.
Gremlins it is!

Recently had all the dash lights, radio and GPS (running off the glove box plug) go out. Engine kept running. Next morning, I fixed the problem, until it might happen again.
Red push button was lit, tail lights, stop lights, headlights all good.
I found the blown fuse next day, but can't figure out why the radio also went out, as well as the cigarette plug.
Dash lights is a 5 amp circuit in fuse box (right side of fuse block, top fuse).
There is a separate fuse for radio, and that didn't blow. Guessing the acc-on receptacle in glove box was also on another circuit, as 5 amp would seem low for that circuit.
Thought I'd post in case someone has an idea why everything NOT related to dash lights were all on the same fuse.

License plates often go by weight so you pay more for higher gross weights. Often that is what troopers are checking. Can't pay for 2 ton plate and carry 3. Revenue source for govmint in fines.

what model is the rockford fosgates that fit the ss?
no clue, 6.5" diameter, there are no markings on the speaker itself. Pulled from the factory OEM 2017 SL speaker pods. These are the front pods in the foot well/sides.
Otto switches work well. I bought the modoor 'generic' push button model, and drilled a 1/4" hole in the moddle of one of the blanks on the Sling dash. Couldn't see paying Modoor $30 for the special switch. Momentary push button works great, and if I really want to switch out to a rocker switch, I can very easy.

These are the ones I used. I did have to modify the included spacers to get them to fit but it wasn't anything drastic. Yes it's a very noticeable change.

@Zx2sling I just got mine today, look nice. As near as I can tell after removing the pods, and the wire grills, these will fit and screw into stock screw holes. Any particular reason you used the spacers? It looks like I will have to modify the wiring a tad, but these will screw into same holes as the Rockford Fosgate speakers. Wire grills fit back over them without spacers. I can see whre a couple of the bigger tabs would need to be cut off, do we need to use spacers?
Or are the new speaker grilles needed to enchance the sound?

@FunCycle I must have just missed you at Coastal. I was there Monday about noon. Thought I'd stop in and see what they sold for mods. 3rd largest sling seller they claim and hardly no display.
Sling owner was doing his vanderhall paperwork. Parts mgr wanted to show me his seats but he drove 4 wheeler in to pick up vanderhall.
