Thanks brother...the really cool detail is that you can remove and attach if needed without damage to top or powercoat finish with the added aerodynamic advantage. Yeap really advantageous.
You're welcome! Totally agree, I'm leaving it on for a while and I'll get pics of my Mtn Bike on there as well as different attachments. -
@1poser can you provide pic of the attachment point as to get a better idea.
Here you go @Nemesis1701
I found the Yakima system on CL and got it for $100 complete with key, it's the Yakima Rail Grab Tower with a 48" bar and I used the long clamp (it came with 3 sizes) to clamp onto the tops 1 1/2" diameter tubing;

- Ok, when I first saw the roofs available for the SS I said "no way, it makes it look like a dune buggy", "it takes away from the experience of the design of the SS"...well after meeting Wayne last year at SSITS I pulled the trigger and got one. It still makes it look like a dune buggy but what the hell, at least it doesn't take away from the experience-in fact it allows me to add to the experience of the SS-instead of leaving her home when I wanna go surfing, biking or long trips having the Twist Top with the Yakima Bars allows me to do that, not to mention the shade it provides on hot days allowing me to ride longer.
So here's the Yakima Bars on the Twist Top;
Now I can use any Yakima attachment without having to take the tarp off.
I know-I know, it's not what the SS is designed for, but hey "to each his own" -
HAPPY FATHERS DAY!
To all you dads out there, have a great day.
I'm not a dad (not yet), so I'm going to take my dad Manny out on the SS for brunch and at 87 I'll have him drive it...I love you Dad!

Sorry to hear @Joker256 and I wish you a speedy recovery...
the upside is when your right arm heals before you get your SS make sure you add the DDM Short Shift Kit and you'll be like the $6 million dollar man shifting thru those gears. -
Like @Cameron Roberts said, ughh...
Still not enough, lost track after Assault Shift Lever. Boy...I thought my Fatboy was a money pit...my SS is never ending and loving it!
It's the cool thing about the SS with all the different fabricators out there, you make it your own! -
Ivor I've been to several events like this and I want you to know I have never been to one that was not only as well prepared but to have the opportunity with your event for us to meet people that we had only known virtually was the best. Thank you again and see you next year if not before. Spud
Totally agree!
If you have a passion in life whatever it may be and have the gift of sharing it with others, that is priceless!
I'm glad @ivorhas the passion for the SS so he can get this community of good people together to enjoy our passion and each other.
Thank you Ivor and others who makes this possible!
Manny and I will see you at SSITR! -
