meh - not something that impresses me, sure they might have amazing physical abilities, but having them and then choosing to use them to play a game for money does not impress me, would be much more impressed by a young person with superior physical abilities that chose to use those abilities by serving their country. Still really makes me wonder about the values we have as a country when people who bounce a ball and throw it through a hoop make more money than a person who saves lives or protects us - - - but hey, thats just my view and clearly many many others dont seem to see things the same way - - - - oh well
I agree - the contracts for NBA, MLB and NFL have rose absurdly in past years. You cannot overlook the dedication, perseverance, and sheer will of pro sports players. That’s why I don’t care who comes along Michael Jordan will always be the G.O.A.T. That guy has a drive to do whatever it takes to beat you no matter if it’s playing checkers. That made him one of the wealthiest sports figures ever. It all boils down to ….

In my opinion nothing shows off the superior physical abilities than NBA players. The speed, quickness and power combined with their size always amazes me. Seems like they have learned their lesson to stay out of politics so I’ve began to watch again - always loved the game. Went to college with Joe Dumars. Was able to play a pickup game with him. That’s when I figured out that he has so much more God given talent than I did it was time for me to just stay in the stands

As a side note Caitlin is brand new to the WNBA so we have yet to see just how many butts she can put in the seats - - who knows - - only the future will tell and perhaps if she does bring if the fans her pay will increase - - still a huge unknown at this point in time
Clark is a formidable female player but what would you rather see - Clark shooting 3 pointers just over the 3 point line (Steph Curry makes them regular from 15 feet further out) or a guy jumping higher than three defenders doing a windmill dunk nearly tearing the goal down. When women can do that - sign me up for season tickets

Considering that most likely a national championship men’s high school basketball team could massacre any WNBA team might be a reason for the low pay. How many slam dunks do you see in women’s basketball ?? If they could get Lebron James to put on a dress and score 100 pts a game they may put more butts in the seat. They keep trying to compare Caitlin Clark to Pete Maravich. My dad took me to a few games when Maravich played for LSU. You really can’t even compare the 2 in there level of play. Pete was throwing full court behind the back passes before it became a normal thing. He packed the house everywhere he went !! WNBA will never be as exciting to watch as the MBA - women just don’t have the physical prowess to play really entertaining basketball!!

Democrat-controlled city announced $45 million in funding for programs to help deal with the skyrocketing number of migrant arrivals it is facing, resulting in over $8 million in budget cuts for the police department.
Denver Mayor Mike Johnston announced last week a package of $45.9 million to fully fund programs for "newcomers" for 2024 and avoid worst-case scenarios projected by the city. That’s in addition to $44 million in spending already secured for the program through previous budget moves.
Spending on migrants in the city skyrocketed last year from $2 million a month in August to $15 million in December. In January, migrant numbers peaked at around 5,000 in shelters but have since dropped to around 1,000, according to official figures.

Riding the Tail of the Dragon is usually a pain in the butt. Lots of traffic always getting behind someone barely doing the speed limit. If you never rode it before ya gotta do it once - after that there are much better rides with little to no traffic. The Rattler is a good one for everybody but EjFord

well, as I said, I have already exceeded my knife budget at this point and as much as I think this knife would make a great collectable, I'm still happy with where I am at the moment - besides that I still have a few little mods coming for a couple of my knives to keep my little mind occupied for now. add to that the fact the PM2 I just got uses the same CPM s90V steel and CF scales dont really thrill me so nothing I really need at this time
no worries - just showing you a good place I have found to shop if the fever hits you again….which you know it will 😬

I agree with what you said with one exception... the bottomless hole... since we have been supplying military aid to Israel since the 70's and other aid longer than that. The bottomless hole is a bunch larger than Ukraine.
I see your point but Ukraine has never been all that great a friend to the US (except Hunter Biden) and what will we get for our billions? Ukraine was part of Russia at one time and the world didn’t end. Israel on the other hand is our ONLY friend in the Middle East. At least we would have a place to land planes, converge forces if the shit ever hits the fan which the way it looks could very likely happen. I like Trump’s idea of LENDING Ukraine the money. Chances are if Ukraine is successful in holding Russia off who do you think these assholes in DC are gonna vote for to pay for the rebuilding of it… our dumb asses for sure. Maybe at one time we could afford to police the world - now we can’t. Maybe we should reinstate the draft and send a couple million illegals and the pricks chanting “death to America” right here in the US to Ukraine to fight. We could cull the herd of illegals and America haters plus save billions all in one swoop !!! AHHH —- wishful thinking 😬

Well looks like another huge funding bill will pass this week. While I agree 100% supporting Israel I am not sure about the bottomless hole we have gotten into in Ukraine. With as far in debt as the US is right now it appears every enemy we have is going to try us out as NOBODY respects Joe Biden. What happens if China decides they better strike while the iron is hot and invades Taiwan. Not to mention little rocket man is just aching to flex his muscle. Just how much more can the American taxpayer withstand with a government far more concerned with other nations conflicts and welcoming in illegals by the millions more than they do their own citizenry ?? Our country is becoming weaker by the day and our days as the world’s superpower may slip away losing the title to China. Who would have thought that this once powerful country could be decimated in 4 short years ?? SAD!!!!
