Several years ago on line I bought a color VW laminated wiring diagram...has anyone seen one for a SS?

I like that but...which fuse ....I'm assuming it could be two different fuses? Are they on an accessory circuit? Main fuse box or someplace in line?

perfect...

Which fuse feeds them? Glove box and between the seat backs. Are they on the same circuit?

Ok, thanks...I completely understand this but I couldn't find the part number/valuation for the diode...any ideas?
The brake light side is sending full power-12 volts to the LED and the tail light is receiving maybe half of the 12 volt power...the diodes are a one way switch....they are used so the power from the brake light or tail light doesn't backfeed each other ... Causing them to be full brightness all the time..

How thick are they? How stiff....do you think 1/8" plastic like car flaps would be better?
-
I have advance and autozone and o'reillys and Napa the ones they have might only be one intensity and not a duel intensity strip for tail and brake function.

I watched the video on slingmods for the mud flap they sell. My observation was the mud flaps were curving toward the rear from the wind as he drove down the road. So if you have a set of those mud flaps do you like them? I was thinking they should be heavier rubber or plastic like the ones on cars and trucks.

I'm working on an idea and I need some about 5-6 inches that just does tail and brakes. Not turn signals included..
-
Where can I find red flexible led strips? Just tail and stop...not with turn signals too. About 6" long

With talk about stealing SS....has anyone thought about a way to lock the hood to keep people from getting at the wires/starter?

My dealer told me they sold 9 victory motorcycles and 60 slingshots...he said they are converting the victory plant into a slingshot plant...

I'm taliking about these....

I have AIG. Got it through my Erie agent.... $530 if you paid the whole year at once... Another company wanted $1000+ and another wanted $1200 and another wanted $1500.
It's classified as a preformance bike...probably because of the 2384 CCs

Do they serve any purpose other than looks?

I got this info directly from optima...
Thank you for contacting Optima Customer Service. Under normal vehicle starting applications, most regular automatic lead acid battery chargers will properly charge an OPTIMA. However, since OPTIMA batteries are frequently used in high-performance applications or non-standard vehicle starting applications, there are certain instances that must be given special considerations.
An OPTIMA battery is an AGM battery, not a "gel" battery or regular flooded acid battery. A deeply discharged OPTIMA battery (less than 10.5V) will not test or recharge properly if treated as a regular flooded battery or gel battery. A handheld electronic battery tester will most likely provide inaccurate test results.
An OPTIMA battery has the benefit of very low internal resistance, which allows high amperage output as well as efficient charge acceptance. This benefit also allows an OPTIMA battery to run longer than its specified ratings and run to a lower voltage than typical flooded batteries. All of this can lead to confusion when it comes to recharging a deeply discharged OPTIMA. Most basic battery chargers have a built-in function to prevent charging a battery with less than 10.5 volts. If your OPTIMA is discharged below that, the battery charger may not start up.
For regular charging, we recommend 2 amps with a max of 10 amps, 13.8-15.0V. For float charging we recommend 1 amp max, 13.2-13.8v.

Look up my article about those optima batteries...if they go below a certain voltage they are very hard to charge...they recommend a trickle charger on them constantly....if it goes too low you might need to connect two 12 volt batteries to it to revive it...these are not like typical batteries..".. And should be treated as such..... Keep them charged
