Ask painter if the waves can be sanded down and re cleared....I painted my fender 3 times before I got it right....I know you paid big bucks for this and you expected it to be right...
The nicks are probably from the shipping company...they care nothing about fragile or other such words...my point is even if they sent you another one...it could get here in worse shape...been there and done that...
Orange peel can be removed by wet sanding....

Getting the bottom plastic thing off was a treat...it flew off and hit the ceiling and bounced around the room....then I had to use a rubber mallet to seat it on the new shifter...smacked it a few times....
More good news...just announced the DOJ is investigating top Management for insider trading.... And their stock has lost 1/3 of its value...they need shut down and imprisoned and the proceeds divided between 143 million people with more restitution doled out.

They didn't find anything wrong about the lurching...they didn't say anything about the starter issue...
I thought they might have wanted to pull the fuel pump/filter to see if there was dirt or other fuel delivery issues...that didn't happen..
And I don't know if they could get the starter to act up but I'm guessing they didn't. There is no mention of either on the work order...except the original notations about the possible issues.
One hole...the alpha has four....the factory hole is at the very end...and that's the only hole the factory links fit in the alpha...now you might be able to tug and pull or egg the holes....
So I bought the alpha sway bar....my plan was to use the original brackets and original links....they work but the factory links will only work in the last hole...which is exactly where they are in the factory sway bar.....
If you want to make any other adjustments by using different holes....you need the adjustable links....just a heads up...
The factory brackets work fine.....and my '15 has the sway bar locks that keep it from sliding around...
Ok, when I saw the new one didn't have the same size grooves as the original I thought maybe I had the wrong part...it's installed now and it actually works....thanks for all your help...
My new DDM shift lever grooves aren't as wide as the old one. Now what? New one won't slide over the two pins.

Freezing is a pain .....Pain yes...but I'm never going to unfreeze my Equafax account....if any of the creditors I apply with won't accept the results from the other two...SCREW THEM..
I believe Equifax is scamming everyone by deliberately lowering everyone's score....probably to get a kick back from the lenders ...part of the higher interest rate they charge you because of your low number...think about that for a while...pretty good money maker.
A small victory...the FTC has announced it is investigating Equafax...
My dealer just called and my SS is done...don't have the list of things they put on it....but they said all I owe for is the inspection....they are honoring my warranty even though they consider it used...
But it's never been titled.... my dealer is treating me very well.... I'm pretty happy...
