I ordered my Hahn cai Oct. 02 2017 order #1767, money deducted from account 10/3. Tried call phone numerous times, e-mailed numerous times no answer. What should I do

I like Hahn products, but I'm afraid I must admit that their customer service followup is sometimes severely lacking. Just keep trying.

how much did it bother you?

Enough that I decided I wanted a slightly taller windshield. I eventually went with a MadStad 13" Adjustable Single windshield. I redrilled it so it mounted lower to the body for cooler weather or a little higher using the original mounting holes. MadStad lists the 13" windshield for riders 6' 3" or taller, but I can still stretch my neck to see over it, but usually prefer to look thru it. From a technical standpoint, I prefer the F4 windshield's durability and scratch-resistance, but I haven't had any problems with my MadStad. MadStad, IIRC, offers affordably priced replacement windshields, if needed. F4 offers a modified Goldwing vent if you want a vented windshield to help reduce chances of exhaust gases being drawn intot he cockpit. MadStad also lists recommended windshield models by driver height on their website (Slingshot (2015 - 2017) Single – MadStad Engineering). I've been very happy with the adjustability of my MadStad Single windshield. It has decent airflow intop the cockpit while still providing protection.

Rarely, I have had some road debris come over the top of my 13" windshield and make it between the top of the windshield and below the front edge of my Twist Dynamics top. I also had a large June bug-type beetle hit the very bottom edge of my windshield and get its guts distributed across the cockpit. As a result of that experience, I tend to keep my windshield installed in the lower, modified position.

I've also experienced a foggy windshield once or twice and simply stretched my neck a little so I could see over the windshield.

I'm 6' 1" and test drove a friend's Slingshot with an F4 +3 windshield before I got my Slingshot. I found the top edge of the windshield to be pretty much in my line of sight. By lightly stretching my neck, I could look over the windshield or with a slight slouch, look thru the windshield.

Dec 5, 2017 Status update - MY RK-AGM34 battery was delivered today by FEDEX :D . The Shipping Confirmation email I had received from Rural King listed everything as being shipped by UPS. Simple miscommunication, I guess. I hope to install the new battery in the next few days.
Note - That battery is heavy. I'm glad it has a built-in handle! Looks to be a great deal for an AGM battery rated at 770 CCA for around $101! 8o

Will try to remember to post a pic once it's installed.

I have a brand new 2018 SLR LE that the fuel gage has never displayed and the DTE does not work. Thankfully the trip meter does work and that is the only way I know when I need to be looking for gas. Sad sad sad.

Oh and to add insult to injury I have a "Cam Phaser X Not Accurate" fault that comes and goes. Go figure?

It about has me scared to do my SC mod until I can get some of these electrical issues working.

Smart move. Polaris will probably try to blame the SC for electrical issues such as the fuel sensor reading and will also want to blame the SC for the Cam reading. :S

Here in Texas, concrete is commonly used on our roads. When I cross the joints between concrete road sections (especially when there is a slight rise at the joint), my swingarm produces a rattle. Both my motorcycles and my Slingshot made/make this noise.

The rubber block that clamps against the battery does have a small amount of backwards and forwards movement to fit against the bottom lip of the battery. I assume the battery butts up against the back seat panel or something. If I get a chance later today, I'll pull the panel so I can get a look.

Just went outside, removed the battery cover I reinstalled yesterday and took this pic of the battery/tray in my 2015 Slingshot. It's hard to tell from the different perspectives between your pics and mine, it looks like the tray may be about the same size with the main difference being the strap holding the battery in place since your battery doesn't have the little foot the old-style battery uses to clamp it in place.

If you're going to take the time to swap housings, you might as well also look into a rebuild kit for things like bearings, etc. I watched one of the new episodes of Wheeler Dealers where the new mechanic bought such a kit and also mentioned checking tolerances or clearances. I assume it's a Precision Turbo, so try contacting them. They should be able to help you buy the right replacement/rebuild components.

@BKL We love our 2013 edge nothing ever like that with ours.

The problem started around 60-65K miles. Some folks speculate that the switch gets dirt and grease in it and then malfunctions. Spraying some cleaner/degreaser into the switch is a common fix attempt and usually works for a while, but Ford still charges around $250 to "fix" it and the problem usually comes back. During warmer weather, it doesn't seem to act up very often so I've been reluctant to take it back to the dealer from whom I ought it, but during cooler weather, the switch seems to malfunction multiple times per day. I purchased an extended warranty because of the electronic instrument display and I hope it also covers the door switch. Turns out folks have been complaining about various Ford door switches going back to at least 2005. I used to spend time opening and closing the door and starting the engine until the damned switch worked properly, but eventually learned that I could indeed drive with it malfunctioning and it would eventually lock the doors. Here's a link to the description on Fordproblems.com - Door Ajar Light Won't Shut Off | Ford Problems.
If they had kept the switch in the door frame, I could have easily fixed it in just a few minutes. I just really get riled up by design decisions that might save the manufacturer a few cents during assembly, but end up costing an absurdly large amount to fix later on. As far as I am concerned, decisions like that reflect poorly on the manufacturer and tell me they really don't give a crap about their customers.
When the darned switch works properly, I actually enjoy driving the Edge. I've even gotten spoiled using Voice Command for selecting songs or cell phone calls. That's a feature I'd like on all my vehicles.

I'm happy with the other stuff I got from RK. I'm just concerned about the battery not being in the package RK said it was in. It would have been a relatively heavy item to place in with the other items, so hopefully, there was just a shipping mix-up.
Assuming the battery shipment problem gets worked out, there are some other items I'd like to get from RK. The ammo box was very well priced, even the regular price was better than most other places I've seen similar items, and their gun prices look pretty good, too. Similar products at local dealers are priced significantly higher.

Having received a Shipment notification Nov 24, 2017, that my order was en route, I received a UPS package today. According to the Shipment email I received, today's package should have included the RK-AGM34 battery I ordered along with an M2A1 .50 cal ammo can (Green Metal Ammo Can - .50 Cal. M2A1 : Rural King) and two COB Flex Worklights (COB Flex Worklight MFWCOB- Color May Vary : Rural King). Both the ammo can and the 2 worklights looked fine. Unfortunately, the battery was not in the shipping box, nor was there any evidence the package might have been damaged and the battery fell out of the packaging. I just submitted an Order Status inquiry via RK's website and will post an update if/when I hear back from RK.

mine was manufacture on 08/2015 listed as a 16 and sold with a tiny battery, so it is safe to assume that anything manufactured after 08/2015 has a motorcycle battery

I guess Polaris must have switched the battery size at the beginning of the 2016 model run. I had been under the impression the change was made when Polaris intro'd the additional heat insulation.

I've owned several Fords over the years. MY 2013 Ford Edge will probably be the last Ford I ever buy. For the last several months, I've been dealing with a door open switch that tends to report that the door is ajar. I've sometimes opened and shut the door so many times in a single session that I get fed up and just drive with the damned switch saying the door is open (it's not). What frustrates the He.. out of me is that instead of using a simple switch (easily replaced) mounted to the door frame, Ford decided to mount the damned switch inside the door just above the door lock mechanism. With the interior lights on, backing up at night is a PITA since you can't see out the rear window. Once you start moving, the interior lights eventually go off, although the warning alarms come on if you make a stop. Once you start moving, the vehicle eventually decides to lock the doors. Also, since the doors won't lock when the switch says the door isn't shut properly, anybody can open a door, potentially placing children at risk from playing with the door handle or risking the safety of someone seeking security inside a locked vehicle only to find the damned door won't lock. Since the switch is mounted inside the door, it reportedly costs around $400 to replace the damned switch. Evidently, Ford has been aware of the problem for several years, yet maintains it is not a problem. Ford may have saved a few dollars or cents redesigning the switch to fit inside the door, but the additional cost to replace it means I'll never buy another Ford since I regard the design decision as a clear sign of lack of concern for the customer. Some folks have also complained about the interior lights not shutting off after as trip and their battery going dead. Of course Ford feels that is the customer's problem, not a result of a shitty design decision.

Not sure. It is the Pearl Black with Red Accents SL/LE. It did not have the heat shield parts on it when I bought it this September. The dealer also told me they reoplaced the battery because they had it on the lot so long and did not take care of the battery that they had to replace it. I thought I saw somewhere in my paperwork from the dealer it was made in October of 2015 but the title says 2016.

An October 2015 manufacture date sounds like an early 2016 model and should normally have the larger battery. The dealer may have just used the newer battery type.
Agree that a pic of the battery should rapidly get clarification.
