So what do American Style Hot Dogs in Brine taste like?
I remember when Lums used to sell hot dogs cooked in beer.

Found an article about Porsche destroying a 35 year-old Nuerburgring record -
Porsche shatters the Nürburgring record we thought was unbreakable | Ars Technica. Of course, the car was a specially setup Porsche that probably no longer meets any existing racing class rules. -
Can you get some Dry ice to help hold things over?

I have similar memories of being stationed In West Berlin in the 1970s. Got off a mid-shift and slept thru the only decent summer day we had that year, or so it seemed.

The best way to reduce heat in the footwells is to add a small scoop to the outside of the wheel wells or to add a vacuum hose/funnel/scoop to direct cooler outside air into the cockpit floor area.
Adding air deflectors (Baker) to your windshield if your windshield is sturdy enough will also help.
Sealing off openings into the engine compartment also helps - Interior Heat | Polaris Slingshot Forum

That should fit on the 11" wide SLR rim, no problem. If you plan on riding in cooler weather, it should do OK, but a Summer tire will generally outperform an All Season tire for traction.

There really is no good stabilization on any phone, so even with the best mounts, you will get lots of jitter at high speeds. Further, if you like audio... you can forget it. Cell phone mics do not operate well when air creates a fast-flowing vortex on them. So unless you’re planning to do <30mph your entire ride, I would pass on using the iPhone (or any phone for that matter).
Rides are memories... don’t let the wrong technology ruin those memories.
Good point. Unless you have a microphone designed to handle wind noise, you may encounter problems with any of the affordable action cameras or phones.

Along the Texas coast, the average year-round humidity is in the mid-70s. Unfortunately, here in the Houston area we also have temps above 80 from April through October. Nothing like going for a Slingshot ride after sundown and it feels like you're driving through a hot sponge with temps in the high 80s/low 90s and high humidity and uncomfortable heat index!
I understand Florida can be even worse. -
Try searching Google for the terms "iphone mount" or "iphone camera mount".
I have a phone mount similar to the Baakey ATL-1 and ATL-2 shown here - phone mount - Buy Cheap phone mount - From Banggood, but it is more suited to hold the phone for viewing while driving as a GPS or speedometer, but BangGood has many other phone mounts. You also might find something here - Tmart: Thousands of Products, Manufacturer Price, Free Shipping Worldwide. I think most of these items ship from China and will take a couple weeks for delivery.
Personally, I am a little leery about flexible arm mounts for phones simply because of the potential replacement cost if the phone should come loose. That's why I like the phone mounts I referenced earlier. Ram Mounts have a reputation for sturdiness and dependability, so you might look into what Ram offers. Google "ram mount phone holder". -
They charge 200.00 to 250.00 here.
Thornoli's here in Spring does laser alignments on Spyders and Slingshots. IIRC, I paid $150. Services - Thornolis

So why revive a thread about a several months old recall that is small potatoes(not a single known failure).......
PS. the accident that had a head on collision and people are claiming that the person died because of the seat belt doesn't count, I mean does anyone really expects to survive a head on collision on a motorcycle?
Excluding head-on collisions which are rarely good on any moorcycle, the Slingshot seems to have done a pretty good job protecting occupants compared to a two-wheel motorcycle or bicycle up against a car/truck.

This is where having a fuse box that allows a circuit to always on or switched can make a BIG difference.
-
There is a wire from the ignition to the headlight relay, but when I try to enlarge my scanned Service manuals (both versions), it gets too blurred to read the info. Good Luck.
-
The Slingshot headlights should be wired to stay on if the key is in the Run position, Off if the key is in the Off or Accessory position.
I also think the new headlight wiring may require 2 switches to handle both the Center and CH headlights and a 3rd switch for the Fog Light circuit, if you're using it. -
I've never looked (no camera on my 2015 Base Slingshot), but I'd assume the harness is routed thru the transmission tunnel.
-
I'd think you could use one of the SlingMods switches to wire the Halos on one side of the switch and the headlights on the other side of the switch. They also have wiring harnesses for the headlight switches. Polaris Slingshot Dash Switches & Relays
Another option is to wire in new headlight connectors for the Fog Light circuit and run the Outer Auxiliary headlights on that circuit. You'd need to add a fuse and switch, but that gives you a set of backup headlights independent of the main headlights. The Fog Light circuit is rated at 10A, so you can safely run 2 x 55W bulbs or even better, LEDs w/o problem. -

Just realized that link takes you to the same sites already mentioned. -
Sounds like a plan. I first wondered about your 4 ga wiring for the fuse block, but according to this link, 4 ga should handle 100A at up to 25 ft - Automotive Wire & Wiring Guide from TESSCO - TESSCO.com.
Loading a circuit at around 70-80% of total rated capacity should be fine. -
As far as rotating your front wheels, you may need to get the tires remounted for the other side if they are directional tires (have an Arrow indicating direction of rotation).
