I am ready for this snow and ice to go away. I am naturally lazy but there is something about be forced to stay inside that is driving me batsh1t crazy.

Snow isn't bad. But we just get ice. You can't do anything when your yard looks like a crystal palace. My.driveway is straight downhill and at the bottom you have to miss two brick columns. You just aim and pray when it's solid ice.

It did finally snow and cover the ice toward the end of the week.

There are a lot of guys in the Chevy Avalanche world that bed liner the whole truck. It actually looks really good if done well.

There is a guy on YouTube who explains how to shoot this stuff from a harbor freight hvlp gun and get a smooth finish. He shows you how to drill the tip of the gun out and what size bit to use. I am 99% sure I am at least going to spray the dash panels and the two console panels. That way I can see how it flows out.

I am liking this Raptor bed liner feel a lot. Its like a cross between Formica and Plastic and it's super slick. I may be using this on my Slingshot very soon. I bet it will be impervious to just about any stain. And I bet I could spray every panel on the Slingshot with 3 quarts or less. It wouldn't even add more than a 3 pounds I bet. I sprayed the rock guard with 2 quarts front and back and then went back over the front and back quickly.

I would even think it would make the body panels less prone to rattle and flop. And the epoxy would make them almost crack proof.

I just walked out to the shop and the Raptor Liner has dried to a plastic bed liner feel. (Which is what it's supposed to do.)

It's already hard as a rock. I did splatter my leather chair with the spray but I guess as long as it stays on the chair and doesn't come off on my clothes it will be ok.

I hate sanding and painting in my garage. It covers every single thing with dust. I guess that gives me a reason to push everything outside and pressure wash the whole thing out when it warms up....

i pulled the trailer out of the garage last night. All I like is painting the rock guard with white bed liner and bolting it on. I also have a cover for the winch. I can't believe it rained the first night I pulled the trailer out of the garage. Murphys Law....

I actually never adjusted my belt the whole time I had mine as a 3 wheel slingshot. I did notice that when I lowered the suspension the belt was super tight. So I tightened the adjustment on the shock till the belt was a bit looser. However in all the 4 years I never had an issue with the belt making a noise or breaking. I even have a spare belt that I never did use.

I did take my foot and push on the belt occasionally and see how much it deflected. I guess I have been around enough belt driven bikes and trikes that I know what to expect.

If you can play a tune on the belt its to tight... If you can flex it with the toe of your shoe over about a 1/2 to 1 inch then its probably ok. It will run just fine a bit loose. However if its to tight your going to eat the belt up and shorten the life of the bearings I'm sure.

No closer today to having my Raptor than i was in November. Ford finally told the dealer Tuesday to pull the transmission out and go through it again. It seems like a bad dream. I can't belive that Ford can just take all the time they want and drag this out for months and months.

The dealer did bring me a 2021 Ford F150 Lariet to drive now. I have had no problems with the dealer at all. I didn't even buy my truck from this dealer. I have bought a vehicle in the past from them. So I guess they know I might buy another one in the future. I had to drive all the way to Lexington KY to buy this truck.

This 2021 has a nice interior. It has cameras outside in multiple places.. The dash has a huge screen. And the gearshift will retract flat. The seats also lay down flat so you can take a nap. That will come in handy when your waiting on the tow truck. And you can use the 20 surround cameras on the big screen in the dash to see when the tow truck pulls up without even having to raise the seat up.

I have a master lock pin that fits through the small hole on the hitch and replaces that spring loaded pin. It has a matching pin and key that goes along with the slide in ball reciever.

I also have a low band asset tracker that I put on my vehicles and trailers. (A better product than lowjack) They just cost 149.00 each and they cost 119.00 a year to monitor 5 items. I won't go into where the tracker is but they won't find it. Not unless they cut the frame into randomly and hit it. And by then I will have been alerted and they will be tracking it while it's moving.

But honestly nothing will stop a true thief. Locks just keep honest people honest. If someone wants it that can just loop a log chain around the tongue and pull it wherever they want. That is why I bought the asset trackers and pay the yearly fee.

Nice looking but if you can put a paddle lock through not the pin. People steal trailers and that is a nice target for them. When not locked to the tow vehicle put a trailer ball in the coupler and lock it in. My friends boat was stolen as he only locked the coupler and they set the closed coupler on the ball and drove off. They found the whole rig down a steep embankment where it had bounced off the ball.

Getting closer. Should be on the ground by this weekend. I just like mounting the winch and spraying the front rock guard white. My knee feels better the more I use it. It still hurts but honestly nothing like it did even a week ago. I am feeling more like normal. I am going to get up early and work on the website panada coins. I am going to start off by offering shirts and decals and even my front protection kits. Just till I get a few items from the vendors to add to the store.

This will allow me to find any bugs in the system. And make sure its fair for everyone.

Heck I may even have a surprise shortly to show everyone that has to do with the white beast. It just depends on how my knee acts. Hopefully it will keep getting better.

Here are the latest pics of the trailer.

P.s I love the new hitch. It just slips over the ball and locks. And you put the pin through to keep it latched. And when you get ready to unhook you just pull the pin. The ball slips right out.

I have started watching TV from England. This is a show that is really funny. This particular comedian is hilarious but don't watch it around easily offended people or small children. Lol

Well the transmission in all the Ford F150's is the 10R80 10 speed. It was developed by a joint venture between Ford and GM. I believe they use it in most of their vehicles now. It was developed so that could have a transmission that kept the engine rpm always in a sweet spot. They also wanted to reduce the parts they had to carry down so this transmission was developed so that all they would have to do is change the bellhousing and tail piece for each different vehicle.
