We love our UP Top. The shade is nice. We have been in some heavy rain and hail storms................your going to get wet no matter what top you have for sure. It does however offer that protection from the direct blasts. In South Dakota we had to pull over because of rain and hail. The dash had hail on it about 2 inches deep, no hail in the seats. Still use the frog togg poncho/suits. Its just knowing what time to gear up....or take a chance. You know your wet when your wallet is soaked through :) . I like the looks of the coverage on the slingshade. All tops are good and provide shade/protection. :):)

The next time it clicks and does not start, tap on it with a hammer or hard object as mentioned above and try it again. If it starts get a new starter under warrenty. Good luck

I did the JRI 2 way adjustable from Alpha and have had the pleasure of driving on them for 1 1/2 years. One must do upgrade for all slingshots. They can be adjusted to float down the highway like a 72 cadillac, or stiffened up for your twisty road days. I have found the happy clicker setting that accomplishes both. Great shocks that come with the proper pre-load set.

Got the word that my dealer is ordering the brake " censors " so I know its the 2 on the master cylinder. I will let u know if it fixes the problem. With all ten info here, I am sure that's the fix. Warranty for sure= free

Cool, just had mine to the dealer for the same issue. Gave them the info off the forum to start with and they contacted Polaris. Hope to hear from them and get my switch/sensor replacement.

Yeah strange aint it. We all work on Fort Carson and my co-workers live in the fountain area. Rocky Mountain Cycle is having a SS event on saturday so they might be there. My daughter is visiting from San Antonio so we are headed to Estes park for the weekend. She is in the Airforce and we just had a thanksgiving dinner for her, turkey trimmings and all. Need a nap now LOL.

No my mistake, I thought Tripod changed his avatar to a blue one at a quick glance. LOL They did the blue right and polaris is learning from all of our input, mods, and suggestions. Enjoy your new blue baby. :)

Did you trade yours in on the Blue? Looks like the cobra colors in person. Yeah we will coordinate a ride to work day for the pic. I always have a flag on mine.

I participated in two motorcycle rides that were great. Both for good causes over last weekend. I did find myself explaining to lookers and askers that yes I have ridden motorcycles for 30+ years and continue to ride street, dirt, and have been an MSF instructor for 7 years (this being my last year).
It seems people assume since you are in this new, car, trike, motorcycle that you have never been on a bike or have no experience. It doesn't bother me when they try to explain to me how fun a bike is, sometime I will play along and let them finish. Just wondering if anyone else runs into this sort of assumptions by riders who see you in your SS. :D:D

I have two co-workers that now have purchased an SS. The first one purchased a white LE. Of course the refer a friend coupon did not fall within his purchase date. I almost threw it away. Then along comes the Blue LE wich the other co-worker had to have. So, coupon good and I got the $500 in SS goodies. Side storage bags, grill, belt guard, gas cap. I gave him $100 of it for using him as the reference instead of the other co-worker.
Now, if you havent seen the blue one in person, it is awesome. All the body margins were tight, paint was a "no drip" application and perfect. The white areas on the hood and behind the roll hoops are a smooth surface. Dont know if the just primed and painted the stock black plastics or used a new smooth plastic inserts. The clear coat on the white is sharp. All new hood pads "the round ones" with no center brace that rests on the firewall ledge. The rusty engine plug by the exhaust manifold is crome. At work we now have a Red "fast one" White, and Blue SS. The coupons keep coming, oil change, % off, and so on. The moral: Dont throw them away because you never know what might work out. :D:D
