Hawaii surprised me also as being so high. Thought Indiana might be up there a little higher. Most Hoosiers are either carrying a gun or are damn close to one. Not a native from Indiana, but some things I really love about this state!!! Gun ownership being one of them!!!

One positive here @Goats_Hogs, all the salt that was used over the winter is definitely washed off the roads. When it does turn warm, can ride the Slings without the worry of salt getting on the frames!!! Unless Mother Nature has something up her sleeve in a conspiracy theory or such to make them resalt everything again!!!!

Dock off of a pond on the back of our house. It normally sits about 3' off the water. Over 3" of rain overnight and more coming. This weather apocalypse started a week ago Saturday in Central Indiana. About 12" of snow followed by about 4" of rain this last week with 60° temps. Got cold again on Easter Sunday and had about 4" of additional snow. Then warmed up into the 60's. They are calling for about 2" more of rain today. And tonight it is supposed to get cold again with more snow!!The flooding got so bad this morning that parts of I-65 were closed near Greenwood, In. With all the additional precip they are calling for all week, need to build an Arc!!! It is supposed to be Spring, unless Mother Nature is involved in some kind of conspiracy theory????

May not be calling them the correct term, but have searched this forum and couldn't find help that I am looking for. I am sure someone has experience with this.

I am dealing with an individual who is going to make me some custom puddle lights. They project an image onto the ground when switched on. I would like to mount them on the underside of the mirror to project on the ground directly below them on each side of the Slingshot.

    My questions are:
    1. When drilling into the mirror housing, is anything inside that I could damage?
    2. Is there a way to remove mirror housing from support arm? I looked it over pretty good and I may be blind, but couldn't see a way.
    3. Lastly, can the mirror be removed to make running wires easier?

I know this may seem kind of simple to some, but I get a little weirded out when drilling on the Sling!!! Any help would be appreciated and Thanks In Advance!!

Hi Cdcamel6, I am changing the location of my switches as you have done. I checked the switch terminals with a meter, and they don't make sense. Can you please guide me through the process?

I didn't move my switches from the dash, just added more. They are for lights and such that I have added. Used a Dremel with small hole saw attachments to drill holes. Wired the switches to automotive relays mounted below windshield under the hood. Getting power from an auxiliary fuse block. Purchased switches and relays off of Amazon. Not sure if this is the kind of help you were looking for, but can provide more details if needed.

Understandable!!! Spent a summer down in CoonAss land. Right outside of New Orleans. Seemed like it was about 11AM every morning before all the 'haze" from the humidity burned off!!! Spent a good deal of time in the jungles of the Yucatan back in the 90's. Couldn't tell a lot of difference in heat/humidity between CoonAss land and the Yucatan!!!

I agree with @Goats_Hogs completely!!! In fact that forecast above showing a high of 29 and a low of a mere 9 sounds like Florida in the summertime about now. 6" of snow yesterday and windy as windy can be today!!!! I am over it. Seems like it may be a while before my Sling sees the light of day outside my garage!!!
Awesome @CDCAMEL6! Thanks for posting this up and I love the way your whole garage shows 'attitude'. I just got the MeanSling bags and will look for that bungee kit on Amazon. I can also keep the speaker pods on my future mods list. Did you also add a subwoofer when you put in the pods or are you running speakers only? One reason I don't have them yet is because they become about an $800 item once you add the speakers, amp and sub.
My whole garage has something, just ask my wife!!! I like my garage and "attitude" is a great description. Have signs, neon, flags, & such covering about every open inch of space in a 3 car garage. Truth be known, my wife loves it also.
I have a Kenwood KSC-SW11 powered sub under the drivers seat. Fits perfect and does a good job of filling that low bass void normal coax's don't handle. You're not going to get that thump- thump bass from a conventional sub, but you can definitely tell when it is turned off. I like what it does. Have a 4 & 2 channel amp under passenger seat, powering 6- coax speakers. A Clarion head unit runs it all. I like my sound.

Wanted to post my @SlingLow pictures of his very awesome luggage racks with the hoop mounted speaker pods. Yes they do fit and fit like a glove!!! Very well built (great powder coating, nice welds, hardware, & if the Titanic was built as strong as these, we would still be drinking Margaritas on her decks), couldn't be any happier!!!
Picture with a very thick piece of corrugated cardboard to show that they clear the racks and pods. These things will not flex!! You could sit my fat-ass on them and they won't move!!

General pictures of how they look. The powder coating matches the Sling very well.

Bought this nifty bungee pack on Amazon. Has several smaller bungee cords & a net. Will work great to tie down coolers, grocery bags, & whatever on the Sling!!! Solved several logistic issues I had with trying to carry anything on the Sling!!! It also very much compliments my Mean Sling bags for carrying clothes and such!!!
Want to say my THANKS to @SlingLow and @Ruptured Duck for providing awesome products at a very reasonable price!!!

Have neighbors that moved here to Central Indiana from San Diego last spring. They were very excited about experiencing the "change of seasons". Of course that was dampered in about mid August when it was 90ish with high humidity. He compared it to Central American rain forests. At least they had a pool to jump in then. Being a trooper, they were all excited to have snow, winter, white Christmas and all of that. He even bought a badass snow blower!!! Had about 4" of snow yesterday. Was out there 1st thing this morning clearing the driveway and sidewalks. About 4° and a subzero wind chill. Looked like a snowman because he hadn't learned to turn the chute to blow with the wind on the snow blower. Being a good neighbor, I helped him out!!! His wife bundled their 2 kids way up to play in the snow. They lasted all of 5 minutes outside. His next comment was that it really couldn't get alot colder than this. Pulled up the forecast on my phone to show him the low on Tuesday morning is going to be about -15°.!!! Told him when it gets that cold, you should open the cabinets below your faucets and let one of them drip. He was totally dumbfounded then. I told him that I don't think the previous owners ever had pipes freeze, but a good precautionary measure!!! Being a smartass, I really wanted to ask him what he thought about "the change of seasons" now, but didn't!!! Told him he would get used to it!!! We went to Rural King Saturday afternoon to buy some Carhartt bibs and a coat. A great investment in comfort!! Ohhh the joys of the Midwest!!!
