Anybody have any info on removing 20/21 steering wheel? Some of these plastics including horn seem a little tougher than standard clips. I’m scared to pull too hard.

Get a double din pioneer head unit, larger screen, better for sounds, can get a model with removable face, and once u setup everything it has a option for camera running at all times from a click of a button. I chose to use my Sony which has the same features because I like having an hdmi input. Don’t think I ever seen the option for stock headunit to Show a different output. Stock sucks anyways. I have 2 in the garage if u fry one.

That looks good, but I’m guessing that’s not a fix, ur saying chop off damaged muffler and run pipes into this new one, and have dual pipes coming out of the side? I like that idea as I really was thinking I’m done with this alpha crap. Found it on eBay for 135 shipped.

Hey Family! I’ve been going though several posts here and the other forum about all the issues with the Alpha Side exit exhaust setup.
I am now on my second one, and NOT surprised, this one is now cracked on edges as well. I have one sitting in my storage and one still installed, I have been waiting to hear about Hahn’s new replacement that’s fills side hole and mounts better but still haven’t heard a release date or price.

I have a few local shops I trust with welding and different exhaust work, I just want to try something different as we all know why these are breaking so easily.

I have attached photos of both damaged parts and was wondering if someone can chime in on a few questions.

Can I cut the muffler off right at the start of muffler, so not where muffler and header meet but where the pipe from connected to header meets the muffler chamber and just straight pipe out the side with no muffler at all? (Tried to draw example on pic #3)

Should I repair and just add more mounts like Hahn has placed them on certain parts of frame not just engine bolt?

Or should I just get a magnaflow exhaust welded in replacement of old cracked muffler and continue pipe from the side?

I don’t want to lose side exit honestly, and my “should I” questions are really a “is it ok” or safe question.
I don’t want to lose power or cause damage to motor. So any ideas on what’s the best bet on where to cut off the muffler from and replace with. I don’t care about sound, loud is fine with me.

Go with nrg brackets from eBay, very easy to mount, makes more room, has seatbelt bracket but u need a nut for the bolt. And I say also go with the 200 set of “racing” seats on eBay, I went with red and black “pleather” last year, going with black with suede middle so it won’t be as hot in the sun. Under $400 can be easily installed your self. Now u can slide and recline both side because the eBay seats come with nice sliders to mount to the nrg brackets.

So Ben from TricLed sent me an email with his phone number and after talking to him for a few minutes he said he will Try to find a pair of brackets and an hour later I got an invoice for them. Thanks A lot Ben from TricLed and thanks to whoever sent him the email and told him someone on the forums needed help! Hopefully I'll have my brackets and lights on in a few days! @dangerdarrell I'll have a sure answer for you in a few days when I swap housings on my 17 SL

Slingshot only and tricled are the main two distributors with the 17 Canadian kit. None of them will sell only the brackets to me as I have all the remaining parts to complete the kit. Tricled said sure here's a 99$ PayPal invoice then refunded me 45 minutes later for the brackets they have. This is slowing me down so much!

Hey everyone, I'm having a small issue and have been calling around a few vendors with no luck!
I recently got rid of my 16 SS and own a 17 SS now and am having problems getting my Canadian headlight setup installed.
I have ALL my parts from the old 16 headlight setup including, front housing, leds, and halos.
The issue I'm having now is that the bracket to hold the extra 2 led lights housings are not on the 17 model anymore.
Few shops are selling the 17' Canadian headlight setup for a few hundred bucks but I don't need anything but the 2 brackets to hold the extra lights. Can someone help me with how to mount them or a bracket setup I can purchase from someone?!
