@Br4hm4, I had to use 3/16" spacers on my front wheels in order for my aftermarket wheels, American Racing Torq thrust M, to clear the calipers. I'm not a madman when I drive, but I haven't noticed any difference.

I hope that it doesn't come to the point of evacuation, be safe, and take care of yourself and your dog. Everything else can be replaced. Been there, done that.

Yeah, mine started out red, but have turned a little on the pink side. But if I remember correctly, it stated that this could happen, so not too surprising.

@Oldfogey nope never was a leg, in fact our whole platoon in basics had the gagin dragon patch on us (18th Airborne Corp) right from the get go. We sure got dogged by all the drill Sargents because of it. Thank you for your service

Wow!! I can hardly stand waiting for the eight months of winter to pass so I can drive my Sling. I can't begin to imagine the frustration you must be going through!! I wish you a speedy recovery.

Last year at Sturgis, some of the Harley guys were actually commenting to me and their friends, about how their knees, back,or whatever, would be much better off getting a Sling. I got some hard looks, but all the ones I talked to liked it. Of course I was wearing my 82nd Airborne hat! We drove ours from northern Minnesota, and will make that trip again, just not during the rally. Way too many people for my liking, but the roads and scenery are fantastic!

I get the same impression, I kinda chuckle to myself. They could learn a lot by using the search button!

Happy birthday Joe!! I'd like to buy you a beer someday. Drive safe and keep the vlogs coming, I love em.

Our town has a very nice Memorial day service at the school and then a little parade to the Veterans park. I've always been in the Color Guard, but this year I'll be driving a golf cart. This busted up vet, driving another busted up vet in the parade. Lol. The town is very supportive, and the attendance is always good. I'm sure a lot of towns/cities are as well.

But, the Alpha is sooo pretty!!

My 15 SL, also displays the SECURE mode, but I'm not aware of a passcode number. I know I didn't enter one and if it really does function, can you lock yourself out by trying to enter a new code?

Okay, thanks for the info

From what I've read, it sounds like it directs the hot air unto the steering. Do you think that would an issue?

I went with the spline drive lug nuts when I changed to aftermarket wheels. The only thing I didn't like about them was that the anodized finish wore off fairly quickly. I've since changed to hex drive. You can somewhat protect the finish by using a plastic bag between the socket and the lug nut. No matter what you go with, Rabs right, change them out.

Yep, married her 16yrs ago, didn't know what "high maintenance" meant.

I drive about 3/4 mile to get to the highway, and while it doesn't stay completely dust free, the paint collects more dust than the black plastic does. Maybe it's a static charge on the paint that contributes to that.
