I put in the cup holders. Not very bright. I ran a wire I had connected to the outlet in the glove box which on has power when the accessory key is on. It's a pain to run the wire from above, but if you pop out the old cups your ur fine. Personally I would look into the rings from tricled.com and mount on top.

I am thinking of a similar build. Not a 3 bar but 2 bar. Is the 2.4 LE5 a direct swap for our 2.2? Can we use the same engine harness, transmission etc? I am just now getting into my research.
Which cars would be the best to look for? 06 07 cobalt etc?

How about the rear end and drive shaft? Any concerns there?

@rabtech will be interested in your write up. I just ordered mine from the dealer. $91 with tax. I have a 2015 but they said no problem on fit. He said it should come with directions. Not holding my breath.

Your right it was dam hot. Don't forget about the downpour! Today already busy on other mods. Put in SlickSpeed horns. Wow! Way loud. They will hear me know. Add new 70mm halo rings around my Canadian lights and tied them into the blinkers. Installed new Alpha intake. New Pioner 5 1/4 speakers. More front end underneath LED as well. Prepped radio department for tomorrow's fun.
Sunday - putting in keyless entry and a viper secuirty system with proximity. Introducing one of those annoying talking modules. Come out before and people are hanging in my Sling! No more! The interesting one is I am putting in blind spot sensors with LED alerts. Just like ones on newer cars. These Slings have a real blind spot.

Sheet is on its way. Andy was having an issue emailing it. Hope to have it and will post on Monday. Yes rear wheel is 20x9

Cool! What is your thoughts from yours to the blue one. Big difference?

First let me say a huge THANKYOU to all the guys at @Turbosling (Henry, Andy, Troy) for their hospitality. These guys seriously enjoy what they do. I was amazed at the operation they have put together. Second to none in my opinion.
(RWHP) - Rear Wheel Horse Power
Today was not the ideal conditions to do the Dyno as in their shop it was 90F. Typical stock no mods make 149RWHP. With all my mods and the Alpha exhaust closed we made 165RWHP. With the exhaust opened up it made 177 RWHP. So we gained 28HP. Alpha thought there was more there if it was 60F. The above numbers take into account compensating numbers for their dyno as per Alpha.
My mods are below.
RRR- Rist Rocket Racing
RRR - Ported Air intake
RRR - Throttle Body
RRR - Intake manifold

Alpha Variable Exhaust
Bob's TuneI definitely feel the difference. However it's no where near a turbo at 250RWHP. I went for a ride in their stage 2 Turbo. All I can say is I almost lost my sun glasses twice! I am for sure going this way this winter. The numbers above don't lie. I did everything outside of a CAM that one could to get natural horsepower. This is just my opinion. You want power?! Go Alpha Turbo! The extra horse power above is nice and I definitely notice lower end torque from stock. But if I had to do it all over again I honestly would save my money and save for a turbo. I don't have regrets because I enjoy wrenching on it and I do notice the gain. Plus either way it is fun to drive. Just not the Oh Shit! the turbo gives you as it pushed you back into your seat. I have no way of breaking down what does what, but notice above there was a big jump from the Alpha exhaust. If I were spending my money again I would go Alpha Intake, and Alpha exhaust if I had plans to do a turbo later. @RistRocketRacing do an amazing job in their parts. They themselves stated staying natural were not going to gain crazy horsepower. But its a nice bump with what I have. I hope this helps you in any way with your decision on mods. Sling ON!!
So there you have it. A tried and true numbers don't lie test with the mods. Pics and video below.
The Beast! More impressive in person.

Totally agree with all these points. If it was some local bar and I got crap, I would do what all of you said above, however Sturgis in the middle of no where makes one a little nervous. I know it can get a little rowdy there. I heard it has changed quite a bit though and has gotten more commercial and tame.

I live in Minnesota and it would be an easy drive to go to Sturgis in August of 2016. I have never ridden a Harley before but do love those bikes. But I got to thinking, I come rolling in my Slingshot to Stugis, am I going to get crap from the Harley crowd? Yes I shouldn't maybe care, but I respect the heritage too. When I ride on the streets about half of other motorcycles give me the lower wave. Other half don't

@KayTwo for the under lighting I used encased LED strips from superbrightled.com.

@dongib yes Slingmods has the best deal and amazing customer service. However I got to be honest, it's just ok for blind spots. In my regular car I have the LED warning in my mirrors for blind spots. I am going to integrate the same thing in the Slingshot. This kit has similar display dot warnings. Will attach them to the mirror and then test and find the best place for the mount. When you have a helmet on it is even more of a blind spot.

@Live-a-Little! Love the mirror LED. I get the 6" strips from the site below. They come with the small switching box. Basically out of one side is pos+ and Neg- to hook up to the LED strip. Then I ran the two wires up to my turn signals. There are three wires there. One is negative black, and the green/pink striped is positive. The third fire is for the blinker interrupt. Just use wire taps. Super easy. When not flashing Amber is going back to white. It's so bright it lights up the side of the road as well. Plus it's a cool white color and is a different color that your typical LED in white. Was only $60 shipped.

I bought their 70mn halos as well that will also hook into the blinkers. That 70mm will be the inside one to my 100mm outer ring. I think it will be a cool color offset

Took video of all my lighting. Loving the mirror LED they are so bright it lights up the side of the road. Next week working on adding alarm with proximity sensor, Guard Dawg keyless and blind spot sensors.

Yep it's not Henry. Just sayin Henry will make a killing if these sell for that..
-
Kind of shocked. I know Henry is working on something, but it can't cost $15k to put an auto in a base Slingahot

I have the LED front spoilers and I scrape. But I am not as low as this. What to do with a speed bump?
-
I see the drain plug on the trans on the passenger side lower bolt. There is an upper bolt with a wire harness. I am guessing that is the fill point?
Rear angle drive only has similar?
