Mine sound comes from play in the aftermarket shock mount.

Mine is doing the same thing. My belt is within specs. My thought is that when I changed to aftermarket shocks it allowed the swingarm to drop lower when the vehicle "unloads" going over a bump. The wear on mine is being caused by a weld on the underside of the belt.

Sorry late to the game also. Donation sent. Thanks for setting this up!

I use soap and water to wash and finish up all black plastic with 303 protectant.

Same here. Has done it since new. I just start driving and eventually it starts to work.

When I did my 5000 mile service I tried to touch a majority of important bolts/nuts (steering, driveline etc). I did find some bolts in the front end below torque spec but certainly not loose. I still have to touch some of the ones that connect the trans to the engine as I have heard those can be loose. Overall looked pretty good. I would bet if I did the same thing to a car it would have the same results.

Priced dropped on alarm system. Also some type of add on gps?

I do remember some early models shorting out the rear camera. It was chaffing on something inside the tail fin area.

This is out of my 2016.5. Most info rubbed off but maybe helps you a little.

Does everyone think a tire will really make a difference on wet weather performance or is it just the nature of the beast (design) of the sling? When I replace mine I will not be going with oem and would love to think a better tire will help with wet weather traction but just don't want to get a false sense of hope I can ride in the rain without ending up in a ditch. As a note I have never drove the sling in the rain, but I am concerned about it.

Congrats on the new ride! Welcome to the forum.

Same location as some of my previous pics in Lake Mead National Park (beautiful riding area). This pic is special as it was a limited amount of quality time seeing my "boy" before he shipped off to his first duty station in the military. Proudly serving our country as a medic. I have always appreciated the military, but when your own kid is signed up it really changes things. Thanks to all who serve!

Interesting video. So the foam basically burns off? I have never seen this done before. It definitely explains the "foam cooler look" on parts now though.

Thanks rab. Freaked out when I first saw it. More I looked more I found. Glad it's normal...I can now sleep lol.

While doing my 5000 mile service recently I came across this. Not sure if this a problem or "normal". The ridges feel raised which makes me think it had to do with casting. It just seems to me to be an awful lot of casting marks. Opinions?

I've left the Polaris alarm on for a week in the garage and noticed no extra drain. I have a blue top optima and of course no alarms going off during the week. I usually throw the trickle charger on every week or so if I haven't gone riding or if I have only done short trips.

Installed the Polaris alarm on my 2016. Overall pretty happy with it. No battery drain that I can tell.
