Yip, the ss tech at my dealer is pretty sharp tho, since I am who I am, I double check everyone and never found less that satisfactory work.
-
With all this said the odds of me making Eureka Springs ride is slim to none

Ive been having a drive belt YELL at me for about a month or so, thought the bad wheel bearings caused it but after a more depth inspection, I have found slack in the swing arm.... front to back on the belt side, the belt has to be off but there is 5-7mm of slack, im assuming one or more of the roller bearings on the swing arm pivot shaft is worn. But when it hits its worn sweet spot the swing arm is pulled forward by the belt causing the pulley to angle left causing the belt to hit the edge of the pulley very hard and yell at me let's see if this is a warranty item shall we...
I've Google the crap outta this and I can't find any other swing arm issues besides breaking in half. Why am I having all these bearing issues, axle bearings, now swingarm bearing/bushings really? I have 8000 miles, I don't do donuts or burnouts, I do however drive it like I ride a sportbike "and no I'm not a squid rider either lol" I'm slow in the straight and quick in the twisties.

Yeah I put it back together, when the bearing goes bad again I'll asked them to leave the thread lock off.
-
It's been off 2 times now...
-
Ya I just wanna lube my rear axle bearings while it's down or I won't do it.....
-
Rear sprocket won't come off, and I finally found the source of the pop from the rear, I can grab my swing arm and move left right and I have Slack I have checked the torque on the pivot shaft nut is there anything else I'm missing before it goes to the dealer for warranty work
-
I look at loctite kinda like a condom, it's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it
-
Thank you!
-
Thank you sir
-
Well I guess the single axle nut is 40mm. Whatsize is the updated double?
-
The seal can come out of the bearing I've seen that done.
-
Well if someone could help me find a link on greasing the rear needle bearing I'd appreciate it. I've been searching for a hour now.
-
Also what loctight on the rear axle nuts? Tried getting hold of funcycle but he hasn't responded yet.
-
So I'm assuming you can remove the seal on the bearing pull the cage clean the race and reinstall with in putter race in the arm correct?
-
Since I'm broke down, I thought I would grease.my rear axle bearing, my question is do I have to remove the bearing so I can separate the needles from the cage or can I do it with bearing installed? I know the grease zerk is the proper fix but I don't wanna do anything that can hinder my warranty. So for now I'd like to do it the manual way until I'm out of warranty.
