Ok.....so I just went to the website. No, I won't be taking my slingshot to Cruisin' Hines because motorcycles are not allowed on the cruise path. I guess that is why I didn't take it last year. You can park your slingshot where spectators park, but I won't be doing that.
Here's some of the information regarding the Hines Cruise.

    • E.N. Hines Dr. closed for all except Classic Cars/Trucks, 25 years (1991) & older. Click HERE for a full description of allowed cars.
    • Park opens at 9am for Cruisers.
    • Cruisers must enter at Ford Road. No entry at Ann Arbor Trail / Nankin Mills or Merriman Rd.
    • Spectators can park at Merriman Rd., Telegraph Rd. and Warrendale, but may not drive onto E.N. Hines Drive.
** Note for Spectators: Parking is limited. Once these lots are full, spectators will need to park off-site.**
    • The pavilions will be open to the public. Vendors will be there with food and event goodies.
    • All State of Michigan rules apply.
    • All park and motor vehicle laws apply.
    • No motorcycles, mini-bikes, or golf carts.
    • Bicycles must use the bike path or follow State of Michigan bicycle laws. No passing on the right. Follow the flow of traffic.

So, with that being said, I will drive my slingshot to the Harper Avenue Cruise for sure.

Howdy all. I am checking to see if there is any interest in the Harper Cruise. I have never been to this cruise. It is much smaller than the Gratiot or Woodward Cruise, but I'm always looking for a reason to ride (as long as I can get the night off). It is on Wednesday, August 31st 5pm to 9pm.

We will be there. I have gone the last couple years with my 67 impala. I will take my slingshot this year. Also, Hines Cruise is Sunday.

It was truly a great time! Thanks Chris from Ball Equipment for making it happen! I truly enjoyed the event and the ride, and even the wave off when it started to rain at 13 and Woodward.

Looking forward to seeing everyone cruising today, tomorrow, and Saturday. Of course, the 10 of us, or I believe we had 15, will definitely be seen on Woodward between Downtown Detroit and Pontiac (you will find us somewhere). I have to stop off at the Lions game tonight at Ford Field, so I will be out before and after the third quarter of the game.

You will also catch us riding from Palmer Park to Belle Isle on Woodward, with the "Cruisin' the D" Parade at 6:30 p.m.

Lastly, I want to make a note of a few things:

The food was a nice treat! The guy taking the orders at the food truck was really nice (customer friendly).

Everyone with Ball Equipment shirts were really pleasant. I know one of the individuals that rides with us actually purchased his from you. I wish I would have, because the team appeared to understand that customer service goes along way. I will recommend others that I know that are interested in purchasing to check out Ball Equipment.

I love the Polaris Bag! Thank you!

Lastly, everyone at the event was pleasant! Great Fun! Great Conversation! We have to make sure that Polaris is aware that the Michigan delegation of Slingshot Riders is one that they should keep an eye on! We are doing big things in Michigan!

The pictures that have been posted are great!

    Everyone be safe!

    HI:

We are RSVPing for 10 slingshots on Wednesday at the Slingshot Rally. We are the 10 from the Gratiot Cruise in Clinton Township. Yes, that is correct, we are not really on the forums, but I see them. I send the text messages to the team and we ride. We are going to ride now. We are ready! So, yes....there will be 10 of us, and there is a T-Rex that rolls with us too. The bags won't be wasted. We are riding Woodward daily. We are also going to be at Woodward and 11 Mile (Thrifty Florist Parking Lot) the Day of Dream Cruise for a celebration.

I joined the forum today, so that I could make sure you knew the 10 with me (Betty Boo Slingshot - the lady that sends the messages to get everyone together).
