I don't trust any weather until the day before. That, and I'm too much of a procrastinator to pack any earlier....

The only way to fix stupid @BONES is to make yourself part of the solution. The problem there is the fact that we, as a population, will not elect someone we need to do the job, we elect who we want to do the job. That means we will never get the help we need imo. Unless @Bill Martin runs. I'll be his public affairs person, and if we can get a couple of millionaire backers, I think we can do it....

There goes my dream of holding @sideseatdriver hostage.
I make a terrible hostage... for the record, last time I was taken hostage I "shot" my hostage taker, and the time before that I wreaked enough havoc to get myself waterboarded and "killed".
Now, collateral is a completely different concept..... I think I bake when used as collateral.

(Snicker) She said ass!!! Throw in the sprinkles, and..and..and.........I think I need a cigarette!!
You can't handle me and that many sprinkles...

@V-SHOT MOD Monster has nothing to do with it. My ass comfort riding in Murphy is the primary guidance. And since we didn't buy the trailer, I figured my comfort could take priority.
Now, for those snickering at the idea of ass comfort ( @Tripod @KayTwo, and a few others), we are talking seats and all, not lube and toys, get your minds out of the gutter.

I'm not worried about the election - unless there's a Reagan-esque miracle, Clinton will be in the office. What worries me is what comes after. Being able to stand there and tell @Sling Beast"I told you so" isn't worth the harm that she is capable of doing to the country.
So maybe what we should be figuring out is how to stand together, no matter what happens, and brace ourselves, because the government won't send out lube before they bend us all over.

You almost had a deal...but you forgot the Chocolate chip cookies with sprinkles!!!!
I'm making chocolate chip puff pastries with whipped cream filling and chocolate glaze tomorrow... does that work?

This looks like a lot of fun, be we are going to have to be late decision makers. That is about the time @KayTwo will be getting ready to assume his next job, and he may have to be at work. I'll keep it on the schedule and keep my fingers crossed....

I agree she is Nasty, but in a bad way. Her followers are embracing nasty like Trumps' did deplorables.

I'm done!

My literature background is showing....

except I live in California, so pretty much- it is taken for granted- my vote don't count(doesn't stop me from trying!)
One of the many reasons we won't move to CA.

Thanks @sideseatdriver I didn't know about this. It was a very interesting read for sure. So many references and an ok FAQ section.
I hadn't heard of it either. Need to do a little more reading, but thought some people here might like to see it too. Glad you found it worthwhile.

So there are quite a few unhappy people on both sides of the aisle. This might help a few people feel like they are actually doing something. Interesting idea at least.

Can someone who is going to FL for the toy drive line up a few slings like reindeer with a red sled in the back acting as a sleigh? Extra credit if you can put toys in the red sling and have a Santa or Mrs. Claus in the pic.

Boooo! Understandable, but booo!

There has already proven to have been early votes made that were from people 148 and 152 years old.
There has always been, and there will always be fraud in voting.
The only way to minimize it is to require identification to vote.
Just like you have to have identification to buy beer, drive a car, get medical care, open a bank account, and supposedly get government assistance, but we all know there is fraud there too.
Actually saying there is no voter fraud happening just shows how blind some people CHOOSE to be.
The only thing that is unknown is just HOW PROLIFIC it is, but we all know it is happening.Well, some gov't assistance doesn't require an ID. Like food stamps/EBT - those you can get as long as you have someone there (or on the phone) who can vouch for who you are.
My question is this: if the Constitution protects your right to have a gun, and if you need an ID to buy a gun, and if it provides an undue hardship to get an ID, then isn't requiring an ID to buy a gun Unconstitutional?

Looking at the calendar and babysitter availability. Still haven't found good racks for kid seat attachment for the sling yet, and the police generally frown on duct tape for some reason....

Congratulations!!!!!! And don't name her Heather - nothing good ever comes from a girl named Heather....
