@varanog78 just call slingmods for a set they just keep replacing them well tric does but you have to call slingmods and just send them a couple pictures.mine are currently yellow and look like shit I refuse to turn them on when they are like that
-
Sorry to hear. You Couldn't come up with a better way to get in to a 2018 huh.wonder what color you got in mind
-
Glad to see some people are getting a couple years out of the halos all of mine are yellowing currently. Spoke to sling mods they should be sending a set out early next week. This will be my third in about a year

ya their recourse for this item is to take off your machine and ship it back to slingmods so it could be shipped to company who makes them to be repaired. and i guess if they ant fix them then they will replace. really bothered me when i found this out usually sling mods has no issue with replacing. but I'm assuming this is on behalf of the vendor slingmods is getting them from. I'm still surprised about the way this specific product is handle.sending a replacement is what would be correct .

I hear there will be a new 2.0 motor, from Polaris if I understood correctly but maybe just big rumors but I heard 2.0 then later a turbo 2.0 but who knows

Has anyone else noticed how all these Corbin bags sit a little crooked in the rear ive seen plenty of them in person and they all have a crooked license plate. Even the newer ones if you have them and haven't noticed take a look yourself

@Garrett Taguchi if you enjoy life and your sling keep that traction on while doing regular driving that would be strictly for fun usually maybe on track with some sticky tires or doing doughnuts . I'm running like 12-13 psi on alpha setup I never take off traction especially when you can feel it looking for traction when you mash the gas in 3rd
-
@Garrett Taguchi they can dyno it but they won't be tuning it unless they can crack it like bob did but good luck with the dyno pulls
-
So installed both sensors and light is off drove 100 miles and so far so good let's hope just a bad sensor .
-
Thanks you guys will do today and report back

ran regular 5w30 for break in period

@rabtech thanks for the response weird because my sling did exactly what you said i replaced the exhaust and intake thinking it was them and @Turbosling telling me he has had a few go bad. but i swapped them out check engine light went away road like 500 miles now its back on. I've probably driven about 3000 miles on this new motor but I'm running rotella 5w40 its what henry suggests. I'm just wondering why the check engine light went away when i replaced them but now its back ? wondering if its the heat the top mount is producing maybe melted a wire ill have to double check .i notice my sling is a little sluggish. another thing thats happening is my shift light on the scg1 is lighting up to early when this check engine light is on . i have to shut off sling and restart and that usually fixes the shift light.like as if something is sending a false signal yo scg 1 telling it to shift at like 3-4000k instead of 5500 what i have it set at

@jorgebri60 let ivor know about the hill climb i thought i was going to be able to just my spot to someone i knew as well but was informed about a waiting list so next person in line gets it, can't be given to a buddy from my understanding

be cautious with that assault hub I've heard its pretty tough to remove once installed. i used the nrg and it felt like same stock distance to me what really changed it was the quick release
-
@Neosolidus maybe just buy a really big brief case. so you can get all that stuff in there. i don't tend to worry about the sling being stolen in the morning or middle of day its more at night when I'm not in the best of areas

i know this check engine code is related to the camshaft exhaust actuator solenoid but i just replaced this about a week about put about 500 miles on the sling in that week and now the light is on again. anyone know what can be all of a sudden ruining these sensors on me. I'm running alpha forged motor with alpha top mount and have yellow and green spring in wastgate seeing like 12psi's. only thing i have changed recently is springs in wastegate was running red and natural before this and never had to replace these. the first one went bad while i was in reverse and had a little back fire and 2 seconds later light was flashing. any one have any ideas . i also replaced the intake side as well . as you can read below i was corrected to what code that sensor actually belonged to i was just a little confused

slap a quick release on your steering wheel i have an alarm but also have quick release on my steering wheel, makes it a little harder to drive away with it especially with no steering wheel

Im not offended at all like @Tripod said it's USA history. Just stating that I could see someone possibly confusing it with the confederate flag i mean obviously that gentlemen was offended. But I don't think the 1000 plus members here are or you probably would have heard it already. @mytoy keep up the patriotism it's America. The guy probably wasn't buying any way probably just wanted to give the dealer shit

Now that's something that is nice about the new trucks lol at least you know it wasn't beat on for 1/3 of its life
