I can get the slr wheels from dealer for about 1400.00 wondering if it's worth it just rims no tires having trouble finding an all black set with the right off set and also being wider in rear

just booked at the sagamore about 11 miles from the fort Henry hotel. could get a suite big enough for family. and plenty of things to do for the kids at the sagamore I should be arriving the 14th . @varanog78 when you gonna be up there

My dealer actually told me Polaris never even takes the angle drives back. He said they hold them for a few Months then just scrap them.told me Polaris says they want them but no one ever shows up to pick them up. I was surprised myself but he told me to come check in a few months and my old drive will be sitting in the same place they left it

@rnj12 not trying to push you away from ddm products I have a bunch of their stuff on my machine but one issue I did have was with their short Throw shifter unless they re worked it alphas does have a smoother shift maybe there's not to many guys have had both but I did. Maybe some other members that have had both can inform you as well and just a heads up you are ware this just makes the distance between shifting gears shorter it does not shorten the shifter it self

Alphas one of the best vendors out there and sometimes it's easier to cut out the middle man not saying slingmods doesn't do a great job themselves. But you could call alpha directly and you will probably get henry on the phone. You probably caught them in the middle of producing a new batch.i ordered my hyrdaulic coilovers a couple weeks ago I got 2 days later and got them before I even paid. But have also built a good relationship with certain vendors . And alpha is one of them so don't be scared google their number give them a call and I'm sure henry will fix it up

16.5 and my angle drive just had to be swapped out m warranty is up next may but pushed me to buy extended well worth the extra 1300.00 in my eyes for another 3 years from when existing warranty runs out

Those guys should be able to do sensors without losing your tune and definitely be able to pull codes without messing with tune as well they reflashed my steering with turbo installed. And recently had angle drive replaced when the tech took it for test drive he said a couple lights came on which he reset which I watched him do because I was picking it up as he just was finishing find another dealer in my opinion

@Garrett Taguchi No back light just numbers and bars and look into the rubber boot aem offers for this gauge just another way to keep moisture out.I remember buying it for mine

@ConnMan it was cancelled as an official slingshot event but I guess a bunch of n.y guys an Connecticut guys like your self want to keep it going.last I heard that had something like 25-30 slingshots going and the hotel was still honoring the discount i plan on goin with the wife so hopefully 2 more slings with hers and mine

The faceplate displays vacuum. Don't believe the failsafe allows u to change that. That's kinda like user info if u aren't seeing he right number under vacuum then u could have a possible hose leak. Just like the scg1 from innovate u can't use the aem failsafe correctly with out some tweaking

@dangerdarrell that's honestly how mine started it was clicking and I thought it was a dirty belt or or maybe to tight. So I went to change oil in angle drive which was very clean but a lot of junk on the oil plug . Changed to purple royal since I was there and about a few days later clicking started getting worst like you said only could hear it under load. Then it just exploded.

So just another little update slings running great and this new angle drive is a lot more quiet. Belt needs to be adjusted getting a little squeak when starting to roll away .also wanted to post something I saw at dealer thought it was funny . His warranty claim was first denied by Polaris they claimed driver error not faulty angle drive . Dealer did eventually get him an angle drive some how

@Ross in goin to beat this sling like a red headed step child I don't know how people can go so long without driving I'm going through withdrawals already

Well couldn't have asked for a faster turn around dropped if sling yesterday afteroon once I got the call about the angle drive being in. I should have my sling back this afternoon. Definitely great response on down time for dealer everything took a week from warranty approval to install.
