Love the design and the price point mentioned makes it a no-brainer. There are two must have mods, the top and relocating the exhaust to get rid of the heat in the floorboards. You just made the choice for a top. Thanks.

Well I just got my Sling back from the dealer. Had my 500 mile oil change, some lights installed in the interior had the recall on the back up camera taken care of and asked them to look at the loud pop coming from behind my sling when accelerating and going through the gears. The service manager called my to inform that they recreated the pop but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. The told my they would realign the belt and see how it did. They kept it overnight. The next day, today, they called and said after everything they couldn't figure it out, but thought it may be in the tranny. The took out a new one and it made the same sounds so told me to drive it. I asked that they record their findings in my service record and the did. Does this sound right?

The first time I found out about this shindig and posted about I didn't know about the participation button. Figured it out though. Really looking forward to it and getting out with other slingshot folks.

I have a different sound coming from the rear. A really loud pop when going through the gears under power. It's happened only about a dozen times, but always when excellerating or downshifting. Not a continuous clicking like in these videos but a loud pop. Any ideas?

Dude on the dark side. I think Dan317 or similar. 58 west from Galax to 81 is serious sling territory. Amazing fun. I'm ready to move, wife less so. If I could learn that road, I would be needing new tires once a month.
I live in Abingdon and work in Marion. Nothing but great riding in my area. Dozens of trails that rival the Tail of the Dragon. Just picked up my Sling about 3 weeks ago.
