The market has yet to force the slingshot to change. They are basically in a class of their own with strong sales. They can't stay the same forever, but with nothing to drive the change its hard to predict when change will happen. However an automatic trans would bring new buyers, if that can't fit in the existing sling in an easily mass produced way it could be what drives change. Having a 15 in my garage I don't mind wearing the same look as a 19 .

It seems funny to me that Obama's "accomplishments" are measured by what might have been and simply accepted as fact. X amount if people would have lost jobs, we would have fell into a depression, Iran would have had nuclear weapons in two years. The media paints a bad image for a future that may or may not happen, then Obama saves us from a fabricated future. All the while increasing the size of government to save us from what might have been. If I had a dollar for ever time global warming was going to put Florida under water I could buy another slingshot.
