The all black 2017 rims are of an SL LE? Are they new?
Brand new rims and tires.. Dealer upgrades the rims and these were put in a closet.. it's not the wider rear tire that is on the SLR. They are all black without the machined face. On the left in the picture is what I think you have??
-
What ones? I think I'm going to keep the one set without tires in the pictures. So
One set 2015 SL rims without tires used $300
One set 2017 SL Le(came off the white one) all black with tires brand new $700
One set of base rims with tires brand new $550
I need to check out the rear sections Mitch but how does $300 sound on the red one? I'll let you know before hand if I see any defects.
I looked into the center part of the hood and the best deal I could find was $900 for a used one with no damage
-
Right side wing available? If so, how much?
Only body parts I have that I would be willing to give up are the two front fenders that are part of the hood and two of the big rear panels(black one is brand new) and I have two belt guards
-
Local dealer sold his business and had some parts left over that were not part of the deal. I really don't need 4 sets of rims but I'll keep a set as a backup. New hood I'm going to try and skin in real carbon fiber... I got two tail sections one is brand new.and a few other body parts.
-
Probably going to have some things for sale, all the rims are brand new!!
-
What is the warranty on these as far as fading and breaking down?
-
Thanks guys!

You mean the one that won't stay on when trying to turn - especially to the right?
Yep!

I had a issue when I installed my Canadian lights and put Hids in and burnt up the switch/ lever. Polaris fixed it but said due to me adding the extra lights they would not cover it again..
Last time I lost control of my brights, turn signal and cruise. Right now Everything works but the brights are almost sticking. I have to hit it 100 times before it will switch over but I can pull it in just a hair and it'll switch back and forth
Anyways I thought someone posted it was off a Saturn or something??

At 37 am I too old to know what a gdl is?
Graduated drivers license I think?? In NJ don't you have to be at least 18 for a motorcycle endorsement ?
-
You're genuinely telling a 16 year old boy not to buy one? Jesus... if I had a slingshot at 16 I would need a hip replacement by 17.
Hahaha! Good point sir!
-
At 16 I'm going to guess his insurance will be like $400 a month.
On a second note props to you for working your butt off to buy something you want..
BUT I would suggest you get more driving time under your belt before you get one. You don't have much driving experience and with one wheel in that back it's easy to try and over correct it if you don't know what your doing. -
They can fit inside a gen 1 SSV speaker pod. Will tell you shortly if the gen 2s can fit them as well.
I have the 2 gen ordered. My crossover are pretty big though.
-
Just curious where would be a good place to hide them? I'd like to stay out of the storage bins.
-
I ordered a set.. I think I'm going overboard but I'm putting in a set of JL ZR components with 140 watts to each pod. Should Sound clean, then on to the rear pods.

I thought these kits were plug-and-play you just plug it into your wire harness and put the ballast somewhere and you're ready to go I didn't realize you had to run power wires back to the battery?? All the videos I've watched they just plug directly into the stock harness
Depends what you get and where from.
Cheap kits don't even come with the correct plug for your bulb. The nicer kits are plug and play. I'm assuming your looking at one with the relay. If you run one kit I don't think you would need one. Swapping them all out I would not use all of the factory wiring. I did that with the Canadian upgrade and about a year later it fried a switch.. not sure what one. It I lost control of my brights and one of the h3 lights on each side.

Welcome to the Crew @N2Orbit.
Thanks guys, haven't had a chance to get on here much. Seems everyone at the first of the year wanted a new kitchen so I haven't had much time for myself. Feel free to tag or pm me about any local events. Sadly I won't make slingshots in the smokies this year.
