To clarify, the 'new' swing arm is the recall replacement.
Thanks for the clarification Andy. As a matter of fact I just had my recall parts ordered which I'm hoping will be installed in time for track day.

I've said this before, call Jason Tung at 888-250-9074, he really researches the right product and size for the sling. He is from
http://www.getyourwheels.com
He took care of me big time with a wheel/tire package and I can't wait until the last threat of cold weather goes away to put them on. At that point I will probably sell my base wheels with like new all season Bridgestone Potenzas mounted as a set.
In addition, since I removed my Metrick's hugger fender for the new swing arm I did not install it on the new one since it won't fit my new 315 rear. It fit up to the 285 Kenda drag radial I mistakenly bought and ran about 1000 miles. It had a little clearance left and might handle a 295. Anyone who wants the fender and tire can have it for $650 (not shipped). I think the tire new is only good for about 2500 miles.
Hey Andy - thanks for the info. I'll look into that website. I'm open to switching out the swing arm for a wider tire. That 315 is exactly what I'm looking for too. Thanks again.

If you know what tire you want you can just search by size.
Yea, I'll try searching by size. I really like the 305/20 on the rear. I know the wider the tire, the poorly they perform in rain so I'll have to choose something that is rated fairly high in rain to offset it.

@Webweaver1021 I can surprisingly (to me) say the stock Kendas do pretty well at the track. I only had 500 miles, from the drive to the track, on my Sling last track day. It was my first time to any track and I was keeping up with almost everybody and even passing Slings and T-rex knock-offs.
I now have Nitto 555's up front and a 555 G2 in the rear. Though the stock tires did well, I know from my first Sling that the Nittos are softer riding, more quiet, more stabilizing and more grippy. I believe other tires may have a slight edge on grip, wet weather, cold weather... But those cost more(some even double). Being a "bang for the buck", I went Nitto.
I got them from Discount Tire. They will price match if you find them cheaper online.
Thanks @WOLF, these are great tips. I forgot that ties do impact ride comfort as well. I'm sure the wifey will appreciate a more comfortable ride. So now I have at least two reasons to upgrade.

@Webweaver1021

Tire Rack or Discount Tire usually have prey good pricing
I tried Tire Rack but when I select the Polaris Slingshot, no results are returned.

One of the main problems I have is warming them up, Kendas are summer tires and driving in the winter is sketchy at best. And in the rain they are really dangerous. Gonna need something with a bit more grip

Hey guys, looking forward to getting on the track burning some rubber. Does anybody have any recommendations for places to get new wheels? I'm about ready to get some new shoes. Still running the crappy Kendas.

Pics from our ride last weekend with @Andy Hatch, @ethermion, @Gadgeteer. My apologies if I forgot anyone.
As much fun as I had last weekend, I have to pass. My grandkids are in town this weekend. Be safe and post pics if possible.
@Nemesis1701, Web weaver dude is my buddy, and a crew member in good standing. He and his lady are as great as the crew you met. Always welcome in my home (again).
@Webweaver1021, we need to setup a quick run to Potomac Point for a glass of wine. Lovely bride and I are getting busy again, but that should be an easy ride for both of us, and quite beautiful. Their Norton is one of the best, for a Norton.
Sure thing sir, I'll let you call it and we'll make plans to ride. Weekends are better for us - as you know we have lil ones.
Welcome @Nemesis1701 - you are absolutely going to love this crew. Now the fun really begins...
I'm down for a ride/get together. It's been a while for me.
Rode up to Northern VA this past weekend, and passed one of those "Fast Red" Slings going in the opposite direction on Route 1 around Stafford. Sound off if that was you.
hey @V-SHOT, I believe it was me. I remember seeing another sling going in the other direction heading north on route 1. "Fast Red" is what they're calling them now? Lol
