    Was it us?

    me

but on the otherhand, if you can find a insurance company that will cover you while stating in the policy that you made the those specific modifications and those are covered, then getting sued will hurt a lot less. But if you can't find anyone willing to take your money for insurance (reliable insurance ) maybe that says something

I hear ya about things going numb. I've got carpel tunnel in my left wrist so somethings I can't tell if I've moved the clutch lever without looking at my hand. For those days I have an Africa Twin with an automatic transmission.

Yeah like I said I've already spoken to them. They will classify it as a modified vehicle and those that rent it WILL sign quite a few docs that will not put me or the business liable for anything. It will also have live GoPro cams running while the renter drives it. So everything will be in a video and again, no off road, no freeways, highways, etc and nothing out of the state. thus its a "look at me" rental for around town. LLC for sure and the vehicle registered to that business, not me.

I think Im good. and rentals will create quite a bit of money.

    Just saying. Thanks

just FYI, it is well settled law that you can not waive negligence. So all that paper is worthless if their lawyer is smart enought to persuade the jury that the 'back yard moron/mechanic mod', was a negligent addition/modification. Not saying don't do it, just be aware they may hire an intelligent attorney. They get past summary judgment with this line. "if it was safe wouldn't Polaris have done it?" "Therefor this is a jury issue. Summary Judgment is inappropriate at this time." Now you need to come up with that trial retainer. Ouch.

So I've been retired a few years and realize that the sun is setting on my motorcycle riding days. (around 50 years riding when the time comes) I like to plan ahead, and have been looking for a honda civic type R, corolla GR, new integra S, for when the time comes to be down to one bike I maybe just sit on and look at in the garage (it will be the Duke 690), I was out zooming about on the duke, finished a corner and came up fast on a can-am spyder, he same me coming and lite it up, and I had to work to keep with him on the duke. So I though maybe this 3 (4) wheels things is next, I had no idea they were that fast. So to those of you have logged 10k miles or more on each. How does it compair? I think the motorcycle seating/handlebars of the can-am would just make me remember what it is not.
