Well, It's finally replaced. The dealer had two in stock and one went into my rig. Problem fixed. I also got an email from Polaris that said they had an "unusual" run on that part. Could be that they got a bad batch. The worst part is the Sling went into limp mode so riding on the average street was impossible unless you wanted to get rear-ended.

Yes, that is true they are actually made across the river in Ontario. My basic problem is my home town dealer quit doing anything with Slingshots (which I didn't know when I bought mine) and the selling dealer is 130 miles away and up where I live we still have a foot of snow on the ground so it's pretty important that I be able to schedule the maintenance and figure out how the hell I'm going to get it back home without paying out the nose again. Believe me, the cost of transporting one of these rigs is far more than the fix, even if I have to pay for the fix. I'm just not in a very jovial mood that I have to have the thing fixed in the first place but then to have to pay to get the thing to the dealer and back is adding insult to the injury.

I ordered a tow dolly for my Slingshot through All Things Slingshot so the next time I have a problem that prevents me from driving the thing to the dealer, I'll have a way to transport it. I've already had to have a company trailer it for me and it's not cheap and not going to get any cheaper. I have called and called and left messages several times and so far I haven't been able to reach anyone at All things to get an Idea when I might expect the dolly. Has anyone else experienced a problem with response from All Things Slingshot?

I was going to meter it out but I don't have the correct deep socket to get the thing out and figured I'd just let the dealer take care of it. According to my local deal (who quit even selling Slingshots, it's acting like a bad sensor seeing how the fans come on as soon as it's started. I wonder if anyone else has had a coolant sensor take a dump? The selling dealer never did set a pass code in the rig so that needs to be done as well.

I just bought a new 2021 Model S for the asking price of $19999, plus the tax, license, etc. for an OTD price of $21,222. It sounds like a lot of money for the most basic model you can get but if you shop around for any power sports equipment, toys aren't cheap anymore. Sales tax alone was 1200, so I think I got a pretty fair deal, especially since the dealer had to go down into Indiana to get the thing. I bought a new Bonneville back in January that ended up running about $12000. I see a lot of guys my age that won't spend the money to get something they can enjoy and work on to keep busy and they end up being couch potatoes and keel over with a heat attack.
