Here’s another good Detailer…….
Purple Slice found it at a bike rally while back and now use it on my Semi, Pickup and sling. Love it

Y’all are having a lot of fun. I’m still cruising around in my Semi to a lot of places I can’t wait to take my Sling. Just played around in southern Oregan and here next week will be in California. Soon home to hopefully get one or two more rides on the Sling. Trying to talk the little lady to go somewhere warm for Christmas and ride 🤞

Yeah, I have some Twist Dynamics 20" on the front of mine and I just barely clear the wheel wells by less than 1" on each side.
I note you have backed in. I tried a couple different configurations and found that the front in first with the wheels just about centered at the forward edge of the trailer wheel wells was about perfect for level loading. The SS is right at 600 lbs per tire, or 1200 front/600 rear. Your mileage may vary.yeah I went with rear loading cause I wanted more weight on the tandems and then coolers tools etc will go in v nose

I just hate those oem screws!
they sell new ones lil

Nice trailer. Only issue is you are stuck with the front tire widths. When I bought my new rims they had wider tires on the front. Minor issue just stick with oem front rim width. Just looked at your pics again. You could move the sling forward to avoid the wheel wells.
dam good info cause I am looking at all new rims and tires probably in 2 years or so, didn’t think of that. Awesome advice

Ya I learned that nut being welded after having a wrench on it 😂
-
So about to go back on the road in the semi and still had some final touches to do on trailer for slingshot. As you can see I spun the tire on my wonderful rubber sealer lol it will be fixed next time I’m home plus some other things lol. The last pic is what I ordered 3 of and no pic of rear cause boy is supplies low around here.

I just took the back panel off and had access to replace rear by yourself not too hard

And I drive a semi with air bag shock combo. Shocks do matter in my setup but we talking 80k lbs lol. If it wasn’t for the weight I’d be a boat on wheels. It was a lot of research and digging that brought to the decision to go all out with air ride. But I’m also a realist what works for me doesn’t work for someone else. But if ya can’t afford it don’t do it either we all have limitations and can’t exceed them so damned if ya do and damned if ya don’t
-
I for one not experiencing a mono shock upgrade I can honestly say that if ya save up the air ride is phenomenal. I know it’s not cheap but wow could you drive the hell out of your sling.

One more coat for the floor then on to etrack and this sucker done

250 mile ride today good first journey for my sling. Half Aces & Eights, orange loop and Devils Triangle. Wow with better suspension does that change a lot for the good.
-
Over one gallon on first coat lol
-
My toy hauler arrived today so now I can relax and paint peacefully lol
-
Well it has been a long busy 5 days……the air ride system took the longest to dial in and install. But thanks to Mitch at RevDynamics for helping in anyway he can I have it all completed. Now I have a long ride scheduled for Saturday. Gonna do half the Aces and Eights, Devil’s Triangle and lunch somwhere.
-
If I had to do this again I will say Mitch can do it lol
-
This thing was hell to install……Mitch will probably be calling me tomorrow and we should be all good. The calibration was challenging but I do have it all operating like normal.
-
So far this kit has been good to me a few common sense things as far as installing. Especially since there’s probably 30 different ways to install lol. I should have it done today.

I won’t lie this is twice the machine I rented now y’all come over and finish this air ride so I can ride lol
