This is much easier to plug in. Rather than leaning in over the seats - that’s why! Lol.

I keep all my “hobby” vehicles on battery maintainers. Found a convenient spot to mount a waterproof charging port. Was going to run it to inside the cockpit but this was super simple. Back plastic panel loosens with a few screws and there is a open space all the way down to the battery compartment to run the wires. Ron.

You have never had a wind screen fog up on you at 85 mph have you? You had better be able to look over or around
You’re right and I won’t. I don’t drive 85mph and I only take my Slingshot out in warmer weather - have other vehicles for that.

Just came back from a ride and I really don’t understand why you would want to look over the windshield? Being able to actually hear the stereo, not having to wear protective glasses, and being able to have a conversation with your passenger - I rode a few times with the stock height and couldn’t wait to get my higher one. Just my 2 cents, to each his own I guess.

With a higher seat you may have the top line in your vision which would be annoying. I am 5’9” and just installed the F4 +5 as I want to look through it for eye protection. 2” lower windshield and a higher seat might be an issue if you want to completely look over it.

Although I still own this 2006 Screamin Eagle Fat Boy, I still miss it as we have had crappy weather for the last few weeks and not any clearing for at least another week.

On the F4 website it says that their standard windscreen is 10.25” from the bottom to the top - same as the 2017 and older models. It does not mention height of 2018 and up. Also mine is no wear near that height?

Is this a stock windscreen on my 2018 SLR? I want to get a taller one but until I know what I have it’s hard to know which F4 to order. I’m thinking +5 as I would like to “just” look through the screen. Thanks, Ron. -
