I put the Tech Air Ride System on my 2016MY. you do give up the passenger storage compartment though. it take the SS from 5" to 8" and can lower it all the way to the ground. you can see the switch's for the air ride, along with the gage for how much air are in them.slingshotinfo.com/wcf/index.php?attachment/12036/But I would say the 1st thing is get the seats your way, we did and as we are not large people we added the extra 2" of memory foam and the lumbar support. We couldn't stand the stock seats. slingshotinfo.com/wcf/index.php?attachment/12035/

where at exactly? we are in Stevensville, Mi. Are you going to go to "Bike Time" in Muskegon, Mi on Saturday July 16th? we are as of now.

Can anyone tell me how long it might take to either to replace the sensor or make adjustments to it? I have no dealer close to us, well not within 50 miles, so I would have to wait.

Ok, I do remember reading someone's article about this switch not working, that the light is on and that there is a defect. I would like to know what others are doing to correct this. Other then taking it in to be repaired unless that is all that can be done. I have a 2016MY. I also see that when the light comes on that the cruise control is disabled as well. Any help would be appreciated.

this is info on Corbin Bags, I called and talked with Corbin Florida, I talked to a guy named Marty, 800-223-4332. Have been helpful, I am not sure about new latches but if they will send out new ones let everyone know, as I will also call about them.

No, as you can see I have the Electronic exhaust system. the muffler is much smaller than original. I wrapped the muffler as shown on the box the wrap came in. YES! we also got the burning effect, but that is the glass crystalizing on the muffler, after about 200 miles now it is down too just a slight smell. The shielding kit form DEI, which you can buy from Slingmods, Cycle springs or from DEI themselves is which I did. I called them on Monday and the kit was at my door on Wednesday. I needed a little help on Friday and called them, very, very helpful, Ask for Brian in Slingshot group. If you have any problem with the kit and you would We ran the Sling over the w/e and boy does it run a lot cooler with just the 11 piece kit on. I have not installed the 1 piece behind the radio though. As I did mention I also added a piece of the muffler wrap under her floor mat. I did read something about an air deflector kit that is now being sold, which I am going to look up. I am now in SW Michigan till the end of year, but we live in SE Florida.

Good Morning, We have 2016MY, and the Alpha variable exhaust. We are in SW Michigan right now and probably will be till Dec, then home to SE Florida. We rode 2 weeks ago, and my wife had to hang her feet out the side as the floor was so darn hot. I ordered the 11 piece kit from Design Engineering and the Exhaust wrap kit. I installed the kit and the wrap on Friday and Saturday. We drove Saturday afternoon and there was very little heat coming thru the floor board. Oh, 1 other thing I took a piece of the exhaust wrap placed it under the floor mat (Gen 2 kit) used double sided tape and the floor was only warm. I did block of the drain holes on her side though. if you watch the video by JOE from Slingmods, he cuts 1 of the attachments off that is on the far side of the exhaust as he said he couldn't get it through, well I have very small hands and I tried and was able to get through there and used both clamps. The other thing is that I am not a mechanic in no way, just followed the instruction and I did call DEI and talked to them on Friday why a piece wasn't fitting. They were a really big HELP. I also sent them some pic's of the installed Firewall piece. I have included some pic's of my install. Hope this works for anyone out there wanting to install the kit. It is definitely worth the $200.00. and then the cost of the wrap.

I had Cyclesprings install my Corbin bags while they were adding everything else. They look great but I can not use them. The doors keep coming on going down the road. Called Corbin and they sent the Fix, we'll sort of, said to clamp down the latch and that will do it, NOT! Well it stays closed longer than before but if I hit a pot hole, (I am in Michigan till end of year), the door comes open. When they are matched they are still not fully closed as u can move the door back and forth. Corbin said that they could fix them if I were to come in when I am back in Florida. Hopefully before warranty runs out in mid April.

LOOKS NICE, BUT THE STRAPS AS I SEE THEM WILL RUB AGAINST THE BACK BEHIND THE SEAT, THERS GOES THE PAINT. ALSO IF YOU HAVEA BULLET ROOF LIKE I DO YOU WOULD HAVE TO CUT A SLOT IN THE TOP OF PIECE THAT GOES OVER THE HEADREST. WOULD NEED TO SEE MORE PIC'S TO BESURE.

I have a 2016 1/2 SL LE, Has anyone installed the battery tender connection? I am trying to install but there was no instruction sheet. NEED HELP.
Then at the same time will install jump start kit. I am stoping for the night but if anyone can send some instructions on the battery tender that would really help. I have the instruction and watched the video on the jump start kit install.
    Thank for any help.

I also have the same exhaust system, though I am in Mi, right now till the end of Dec. then we are returning home to Southern Florida. right now my wife feels no heat build up in the floor board. We drove 220 miles on Sunday and she didn't say anything about it. But you didn't say what year yours is, our is the 2016 1/2 SL LE model. I noticed the extra heat shield in the exhaust area.

Both my wife and I are not very tall, she is 5'-7 and I am only 5'-9, the stock seats were very hard for us as neither of us weigh very much. I tried to talk her into the PRP seats while it was at the dealers but she said no. then after her first 2 rides she changed her mind about the seats. we also have the Lumbar support and we added the extra 2" of memory foam to them. puts us up a little higher in the seat.
