Thanks for all the response! My sling has the TD top (I think) as it has no removable brackets on the back mount. We bought the slingshot used and the top was already on, saved a bit on that mod since we wanted a top anyway. We've named our Slingshot Hornet. I borrowed the font from Honda and did some tweaking on the hornet we found online. I have several mods I want to do but all excess funds are being diverted to close in a carport so Hornet has a nice place to hibernate this winter. Blowing snow filling the cockpit is something I would prefer to avoid.

I've found some valuable information on this forum and thought it was time to join. My wife and I have switched from a Goldwing to the Slingshot and I have no regrets. Just as much fun with less worrying about the gravel patch around the blind curve. We're in Western NC so we have plenty of curves to enjoy with the famous Tail of The Dragon only 2 hours away. The Slingshot is a 2018 SLR Orange Madness mostly stock.

My 2018 SLR does the same thing, only when cold. I let the fuel system fully pressurize before I start and that has stopped the stalling. I just turn the key and wait to start until the fuel pump shuts off. Probably a faulty sensor which would require a trip to the dealer since I'm still under warranty. Not exactly the correct fix but it has worked for me. Good Luck.
